Integrity and shining lights rather than allowing shadows to hide crimes are the answers to stopping such abuse. My father was a disabled vet told by the Army he'd "never function normally in society again" after Vietnam who refused to accept the prognosis and managed to scrape his way to a certificate in x-ray and nuclear medicine through washing dishes at a pizza joint to get the $ for tuition to take the courses. That included them sending him to MIT, because nuclear medicine was a new thing, which he figured was the supply and demand that would lead to a disabled worker getting hired in the early 1970s. College was waaaaaay out of his league, but that course wasn't. We moved to what he promised my mother would be our last home in 1977. She'd hated moving as a military kid AND as a military wife when he went into the Army to start at age 17 barely having earned his high school diploma. As a nuclear med tech, he made less than a teacher and without the vacations they get, with a backyard garden and home canning supplementing what we ate. We had a pretty good life, though, and we were definitely the first generation that didn't have to worry a day without food was coming even if it was a peanut butter or tomato sandwich for lunch. My sisters and I were the first to get to college, albeit the ones right near us and financed through academic scholarships and grants. Yet the year after I started college, my father broke his promise to my mother. See, the smaller private hospital where he was in charge of nuclear medicine by then had been purchased, and he started seeing corners cut that made him uncomfortable. He did what HE could, and then he went to administration with a complaint to let them know what he saw. That sort of thing can go three ways, and the way it went with him was that they made the mistake of trying to intimidate my father and threaten him with the "you know we pay that salary here, so how about you stop complaining" way. My father's response was that there were a lot of jobs in hospitals but that if he had to go work at another pizza place washing dishes, he wasn't going to let patient care get compromised while turning a blind eye, and when you are in NUCLEAR medicine, those inspectors and regulators come really quickly when summoned to look at a hospital you say is cutting corners top down. Then he filed a report with regulatory agencies to summon them while he was still there, albeit working out his notice after finding one of those other jobs. My mother was furious for a long time, but his answer was always that both patient care and his character as the man she loved was at stake, neither of which he could compromise. There have been 2 times in my career as a teacher I felt in a similar position, and because of what I learned from him on such subjects as a role model and teacher in our home, I chose a path for reporting what went wrong. If you have a choice between abusing while eating or finding another source of food, there are programs that will feed you. Integrity and shining lights rather than allowing shadows to hide crimes are the answers to stopping such abuse.

But also when Pac said that it was likely 93 the beginning of Bad Boy where they weren't popping like that Party And Bullshit wasn't global like Juicy or Big Poppa so Biggie was likely thirsty for some money and he was probably still selling drugs atp so he would take some money wherever he could get it atp even if that meant leaving Puff
Now the Rolling Stone shit that's selfish as hell
Also Biggie leaving Bad Boy I don't know if there was a publishing battle going on maybe Lil Cease in the future could give us more insight if that was the reason or was it just gonna be Biggie leaving in 1998-1999 because for Hell Up In Harlem he was gonna have to tour for the project and all that I Doubt Puff would've let him go before Biggie did that
Born Again likely would've been Biggie debut as an Independent artist on his own label but Dame said Biggie was gonna be down w Roc-A-Fella so we don't know what was Biggie plans for being Independent but we don't know if it was just gonna be a mutual break with no hard feelings or would it have been like Snoop broke from DR were he made a diss album towards

Diddy a business man he knew Big's passing was valuable to promoting his agenda & he used that as leverage to build his solo career.
Musically Puff was aways in Big's shadow but now he gone its the perfect timing. Big built Bad Boy with his talent, Big passes away & now Puff tail coats off what Bigs talent has built.
Puff a scum snake who manipulated Big from the get go in order the go from the producer to performer. Puff loves the lime light at ANY cost 🤷🏽‍♂️
