People from Bret Hart to The Undertaker have said that (before he got so big that he became virtually immobile) that Yoko was one of the easiest wrestlers to work with. He was agile took great care of his opponents.
@@pikachurextuber5612 That was Viscera though. And he definitely was very unsafe to work with. You remember when Undertaker wore that phantom of the opera mask? It's because Viscera disfigured his face and broke his nose and I believe that's what you're referring to.
The first move that came to mind for this title was Yokozuna's Banzai Drop. A man as huge as Yoko was deliberately dropping all his weight on someone's chest could cause catastrophic damage.
I would also add, for big guy drops, Vader's Vader Bomb, and Tugboat's top rope splash to the list, as both guys were also super heavy weights in their own rights performing middle or top rope splash moves form 350+ pounders. Yet they both rarely, if ever, injured anyone. Actually, Earthquake's finisher would also count for this too, as his move was similar to the Banzai Drop, but not performed from the ropes and adding in some jumping around and running off the ropes before doing the move, but still having an 400 lb guy appearing to drop and sit on the recipients chest. If done for real, without any protective movements, could still cave in a guy's chest or collapse a person's lungs.
In case of the Leg Drop, Hulk Hogan is proof this move does way more damage to the person executing it, even if done for real. Most of this moves live from the sheer size, weight and strength of the wrestler, most likely the reason for Vinces love for powerhouses. This really makes sense, a cruiserweight doing a banzai drop would look incredibly funny. There is a reason even in mma there are weight classes.
Yokozuna crashing down all that weight on your opponent is very dangerous as it could cause the opponent to not breathe causing damage to the lungs and chest, makes the move dangerous.
Forget not being able to breathe; if Yokozuna landed a banzai drop for real he could easily kill you. He typically landed just below the opponent’s throat, around their upper rib cage. Depending on your size and considering Yokozuna was at least 600+ lbs, he could easily crush your rib cage and cause it to cave in, potentially impaling your throat or organs. Trust me, if Yokozuna wanted to for real kill or at least badly injure any one of his opponents with a banzai drop, he could’ve.
I remember a time in high school when I delivered a tombstone to a classmate while fooling around after school. I did it right and the other guy wasn't injured but I can't help but think that it could have gone differently.
Yeah, it came from out of nowhere and when Shelton was doing an aerial move off the top rope. Shawn definitely pulled off a spectacular finisher that night.
This is why they always say 'Don't try this.' BUT it would be funny if there was a WWE video game where all the moves were real and you actually hurt your opponent. Like an over-the-top version of wrestling.

The leg drop is more dangerous on the one using it. Not in a one time use but the constant compression of their spinal chord can cause swelling that could cause severe pain even paralysis over time.

I think the Coup De Gras could be on this list. A man jumping and stomping with force on someone's chest could be lethal when performed on the mat, let alone from the top rope.
i had a gut feeling that Piledriver was #1, after all Stone Cold legitimately had a broken neck from taking one of those, gave him a scare that ultimately shortened his career.
To add context on the last move, a botched piledriver by Owen Hart on Steve Austin broke Austin's neck and massively shortened Stone Cold's career. That was the botch that caused the move to be banned in WWF/E.
I feel that one other move that should have been mentioned was the flying head drop. That move could look like it can make people rise from ther seats based on its aerial delivery and how it could hit one opponent. However, the sheer risk and danger of the move made Harley Race (The creator of the move) regret having created it, as it can seriously injure your head if you don't land it properly.
I'm surprised the power bombs didn't make it on the list, especially the last ride. That's a nearly 7 ft tall man hoisting you up above his head before sending you Crashing Down to the ring below, or from The Ring into an announce table.
The Banzai drop from what I remember seeing the only time when it was done incorrectly was when his feet just slipped on the landing. Case in point the one delivered to Jabba
People need to remember that these wrestlers are more then just athletes. For us, they are athletes and actors. They are the full package. They need to have the skill as a wrestler, AND have the skill as an actor to make it look like a move was more devastating than it actually was.

Burning Hammer rarely seen on WWE television today? Uh, isn't that Bianca Belair's finisher the KOD? Unless that's maybe a variation of it? Also any seated senton would kill you or severely injure you if done for real, especially if done on you to guys that big. Yokozuna and Earthquake used it as a finisher and in his prime, Andre the Giant did quite often after doing a boot to the face or chest to an opponent. He'd also do a regular big splash, which would really hurt if the wrestler weren't blockin a lot of that impact with their knees. Most memorable is when Andre did the seated senton off the top rope on both John Studd and Kamala at the end of his steel cage matches with them. I believe those were originally on Coliseum Videos. Ooh yeah, any piledriver very dangerous, as has been seen when that move was botched with Austin and Owen. Leg drop is more of a butt drop when done by a super heavyweight. And yep, just ask Bret Hart how unsafe a super kick can be. And I can see why they don't use the regular piledriver anymore in WWE. That's a pretty dangerous one. Even back in the day, I only remember Paul Orndorff using it as a finisher and later Jerry Jawler when he joined the WWF and it only sometimes being used as a high spot in old school matches.
