As someone who started with Eraserhead as well, I'd start people anywhere else. But it would highly depend on the person and particularly their age: I'd start a Boomer with Twin Peaks or Blue Velvet because I'd trust them to understand the vibe those works are referencing. Younger people I can agree Lost Highway or Mulholland drive would be a better bet. Thank you for the video, I've been enjoying all the retrospectives around RUclips. It's nice to not have to yell "you're wrong!" at a video trying to have opinions on the meaning behind his works.
