Awesome review, guys! The 2019 Jetta definitely is a great looking vehicle in its class. Not to mention, it gets stellar fuel economy ratings and offers tons of technology for a pretty enticing price point.
All in all, solid review! I can't wait for your 2019 Silverado video, as well as your Everyman Driver collaboration video. As always, from one car reviewer to another, keep up the great work!
CORRECTION: VW owns Audi . Not the other way around.
does have Sport Mod. just shift down when in Drive mode
This is a really nice car I’m not going to lie
It has sport mode. Downshift from drive into sport mode and down again to switch back, And VW owns Audi.
you can custom set the car in sport steering mode in all drive modes
The R Line only has ECO and normal modes. The SEL has Sport mode, as well as the other two.
P&B Car Reviews the Jetta r line does have sport mode if you are in drive and shift down you will switch to sport mode and shift down again to switch back to regular drive. Notice the D/S
absolutely hate the removal of the CD player and the boring speedometer look. totally unnecessary and just makes the car feel like a total downgrade against my 2017 SE
beware of transmission Darth Vader breathing noises from driver seat foot floor while cruising...otherwise it's a nice ride but I'm reading lots of complaints from owners
it's deeply underpowered and it doesn't even have as much power as my Hyundai sonata which I paid $25,000 and have a glass power sunroof 190 horsepower heated and cooled leather seats dual-zone heating and AC.you guys are just making a big deal because it's a Volkswagen.but it's a bitter disappointment to see 147 horsepower in a car and charge somebody $25,000 for a 1.4 liter engine.
Fuel economy.
Not everyone needs a race car. So many little boys needing a fast car that isn’t even legal to drive aggressively fast. Speed kills. Loving my stock 2021 Jetta S with the 147hp 6-speed manual.
Unreliable. I bought it two months ago. Already the panel broke off and had to have it repaired. The brakes make this awful sound which the dealership said is normal. Maybe for a 10 year old car it is. I'll post a video of the sound later.
And for all you new owners, there's a recall already with a "sealant.". Guess water leaks in. 3 dealership trips in less than 2 months what a mistake :(
