Please don't put background music to these testimonials. Wonderful man nice person
What a fascinating story! I followed up and saw a NY Times article on David Wisnia. Last time I had this emotions when I watched Titanic..Thank you ECI for conducting this interview!
Incredible story of survival from Mr. Wisnia! I would be so proud to know this man or to have him as a neighbor. Thank you so much for sharing.
This was incredible. Such an uplifting testimony. Bless him.
What a great voice. He was tough enough for the 101 and survived a death march, a wonderful story told by a wonderful man ...He should do a interview about the camp for Yad Vashem, no one survived Auschwitz that long, amazing. As for the folks that gave this a thumbs down ?!? I would enjoy meeting them in a dark alley.
Same!
Incredible survival story told by the man who endured it all. He seems like such a wonderful person, would have loved to have met and spoke with him myself.
I lived in Holly Hill.Couldnt believe when I saw this!!Wish I had known about him when I lived there!!Every story of survival is astounding. 💗
What a jewel of a human being. You could feel the love that surrounds him. His experience is remarkable. I love him!
Thanks for sharing
Great story...how does one survive the evil they went thru. I doubt id a day goes by without him thinking of the things he saw n went thru...great respect for this gentleman! 💝
What a beautiful and cheerful yellow kitchen. This man is just so beautiful in his spirit and his personality. A true hero and inspiration to us all. Thank you for doing this interview.
Thank you for producing this video and sharing his story.
I agree that you should not have background music with this documentary.
What an inspiring testimony. I would love to hear his complete life story. This makes me so proud to be an American. I am so glad that Mr. Wisnia got to live the American dream. He is a hero. 🇺🇲👏🏻✌🏻❤

I love Poland and I’m going there every year when possible. You are beautiful man you are hero
This needs to be a reenacted documentary.
What an amazing story....like a Tarantino movie scene when the Americans showed up.
I hope Mr. Wisnia writes a book.
@Carl Finch may he rest in peace
Such a great story! Thanks for sharing!
What a thoroughly likeable and unpretentious man, who wears his courage and honors lightly as though it were all a joke of fate.
Wonderful story! Wish I could hear more of his singing though.
Wonderful story such a lovely man ❤❤❤💚💚💚☘☘☘
Oh, my my, what an amazing lifestory David Wisnia shared through this video!! I heard him intently, often holding my breath in awe as he spoke.
I salute this gentleman!!
May God bless him with a long, healthy and satisfying life.
Thanks for posting this uplifting story about the will to live. As many have noted, I too felt that the music was distracting, and I would urge you to try to remove it even now if possible, because this is such a moving story that could have a profound effect on many more RUclips viewers over time.
Well done. Enjoyed your life story 💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸
What an incredible man!
Love this, RIP David
Beautiful story. Thank you so much for sharing this.❤️
I think I will go to bed every night and wake up every morning for the rest of my life thinking about this beautiful man. To have experienced the depths of hell this man did, and then to have emerged from it with such clarity and wisdom. And let's not forget...a sense of humor as well!
He adds something of goodness and value to everyone he meets in person, or those who learn about him.
This would be a great movie!
I know that patch on his shirt, my husband wore it with pride. 101 st, airborne all the way.
Wow.
Do more of these, please!
The biography is compelling. However, the background music was unnecessary.
Thank you for watching and we appreciate your feedback.
I couldn't agree more. It disrespects the importance of the story.
The music is alright, but a bit too loud.
I didn't even notice it
Heartbreaking but inspiring. This lovely man holds no bitterness. ❤
What a delightful survivor story!
"His Polish was worse than my English " such a sweet gentelman
What an amazing person
A incredible man thank you for sharing your story…god bless you
Interesting that he talked around his concentration camp experience, in essence, by saying much more about how he got there and after he left than he did about what happened there. Not a word about anyone he knew at the camps and very little about what happened except that he sang for the Germans and did not get regular rations (which would not have been enough) once he started doing that. I am not criticizing. I am pointing it out because what went unsaid was of such great importance. Whether he glossed over it to spare himself or us is something to ponder.
What a great story!
Even for humor to come out of his story is something so special...he is charming and you van tell he is proud of his accomplishments!
Fantastic story! Glad I watched it!
Amazing documentary.....God Bless❤️🙏🏻✝️🇺🇸
What a beautiful story and a wonderful story teller
I so wanted to hear what this man was saying but the background music was horrific especially if you have headphones on. You dont need music
I used closed captioning to avoid missing any dialogue.
I never noticed
I always wonder how these people could pick up their lives after all that horror.
He survived because of his youth and determination.
Many could not.
Indredible gentleman.! I would like to know his story post war.
Great story what a beautiful human being
Currently watching this from levittown,Pa😆
Bless him ..
Cómo me gustará si alguien me pudiera decir como hago par buscar en español hay poquísimas páginas. Gracias de antemano si tuvieran el favor de ayudar no se nada de inglés y soy una sra ya mayor. Gracias
Great story!
Thank you. We agree!
An incredible story from an inspirational gentleman! I was deeply moved by his words ...... just such a shame the intrusive music has clearly been added - it’s unnecessary and distracting
background music is too loud and distracts from focus on the story telling
Sr. Mis respectos
Wow! Horror turned into inspiration!
Takich uśmiechów się nie zapomina zwłaszcza jak j się innym cos kradnie
Not to lessen the horror Mr. Wisnia endured. The sad irony is that any Black family trying to move into Levittown were terrorized until they left.

Thank you so much for sharing with me an infamous fragment of the Hitler's Nazi horrendous regimen.
It must be an odyssey to recount.
The crimes and cruelties committed against my sons and daughters, my fathers and mothers, my brothers and sisters hurt me deeply, regardless their ethnicity and nationality.
In Isaiah 2: 4, Jehovah God, the Creator and Source of life, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, promises:
"He will be judge among the nations and will settle matters in relation to many peoples. They will turn their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. The nations will no longer raise their swords against each other and learn no more to wage war."
My immediate neighbors are Jews and I am a Jehovah's Witness.
Their hearts are superior than pure gold by far. They are extremely kind.
The gentleman takes care of my trash can every Wednesday without my asking him to do so. They are lovely human beings, and they are not in need of the smallest improvement.
Y'all kniw that a very minor percentage of ppl actually like classical music dont you? This is kinda why the a violinist just doesn't make as much in a lifetime as Mick Jagger, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, AC DC, Franki Valli, Elvis, the list is endless. Just learn to count look at money and youll know what music, if you really need to include any, is appealing to 80% of ppl, not a minority of ppl who are posh

Thanks. Amazing. A true American story. What does her think of Trump?
This is the same Levittown that has a clause in the contract to never allow African Americans to buy homes in the area.....
Probably discriminated against jews too.
@@olyvoyl9382 blablabla.... both of yall dumbies..
What is your point? That is an unfortunate truth but we have since made those kinds of clauses illegal. What does it have to do with his life story?
@@olyvoyl9382 Proof?....
Two points:
a) It was inappropriate to post this comment here. This is not a video about the Levitts, but about a heroic story of a Holocaust survivor. Why sully him with a racism issue because he happened to live in Levittown?
b) As a son of Holocaust survivors myself, I am the first to take a stand against racism, since I know what it can lead to, and I also know that for those who hate blacks, Jews are right behind on the list. Nor am I trying to justify the Levitts' clause by any stretch. However, I truly believe that it was not done out of their own racism, but from a pure business perspective. They invested a ton to build a 17,000 home town, and the sad reality at the time was that as soon as one or two African-Americans would buy homes, there would be a sharp drop in housing values and a massive rush by residents to sell.
