I'm not satisfied and very fuming with Link's constant insane streamer RNG
1 week of HCIM from scratch, then fight. Someone gets to slay a Hardcore
maybe like 40 hours of HCIM then fight
So I had a challenge Idea and didn't really know where to send it so here goes:
We could only hunt dragons... Then we fight
A wheel will determine the type of dragon or draconic creature each character will fight (Red, Black, Rune, Blue, Wyvern, etc.) and how long they can fight it.
Rules:
1. You begin with gear to kill dragons and dragonic creatures.
2. Once you obtain a gear item you can no longer hunt that particular type of dragon (Example you can't kill the kbd if you were killing brutal black dragons and got a dragon med helm) with the exception of stackable gear such as dart.
3. You can collect dragon hide and bars but if you craft an item using them you cannot use another piece of gear you obtain from that particular dragon. In addition, you cannot overwrite/upgrade a slot using this. (Example if you already got a platebody that you don't like you cant just decide to make a d'hide body instead for that slot).
4. Bosses are not off-limits but you must be attacking a dragon of your assigned type.
5. Sharks will be provided as the food for the challenge but shops are off limits (minus the tanner and use of shops to obtain items to craft gear)
6. Ammunition will not count as a gear item unless it can be used without another item (I.E. Darts)

Something where you need to kill monsters for food. And if either player gets 2 of the same item the other person can take it for their gear setup. Like you would've gotten his second brine sabre

Next time, get a pickaxe, go mine pure essence (UNDERGROUND) at Lunar isles. (I also heard that the rune essence mine is technically located on Lunar island, which mean which ever mage you'd use to teleport to the mine, it would still be underground, I think it's in the Lore or something, can't confirm) Then go to Ourania and get the essence into the runes you need. You could do a bit of casts for offensive spells but the main thing would be basic weakening spells or even enchantment spells, for bolts and amulets. Also, why did Rargh kept all the runes in his inventory? He's 99 construction, I'd be damn surprised if the guy didn't have portals in his house. That could have made some better mining trips.

Similar idea- You can only get things in buildings- nothing can be done outside of a man-made structure (sorry gnomes)
Blast furnace has a spade spawn for shoveling coal coke.
Even with a bronze pickaxe if you walk off and hit again every pickaxe hits first tick than counts its regular tick counter. So just restarting your mining over and over is way way way faster than waiting for the ticks on a steel pickaxe.

I have a challenge Idea that can be tacked onto any challenge. You do a regular challenge then at the end you spin a wheel three times with all different equipment categories and 1 for food. Whatever it lands on you and Link have to swap that piece of gear or all your food.

Heads and Tails Challenge: You both spend 2 hours getting any gear you want. At the end, you choose a side of the coin each. And flip. Whoever wins the coin flip decides if they want to keep their item or switch with the other person.
So if Rargh has a Rune Full Helm and Linky Winky has an Addy Med and Rargh wins the coin toss, he would choose to keep his rune full. If Linky Wink won, he could swap with Rargh.

Can you do Farming/Herblore challenge? Would add a little more variety to skills used in 2v2's. You can use max gear to kill monsters to get seeds and secondary ingredients 1 or 2 hours time. You can get only as many seeds as there are said patches in the game. Every one seed gained locks down one patch (except for example: drop of 7 strawberry seeds locks down just one allotment patch). You can turn the grown plants into money or make potions (secondary ingredients have to come from monster drops as well or grown by yourselves). Food has to be grown aswell. Money from selling the potions or whatever farmed is used to buy gear for the final fight. The time that it takes for stuff to grow doesn't count as preparation time.
This wouls have lots of rng in it. Plants can die. You may get various seeds that can give huge advantages if grown and made into potions, sold for better gear, etc. Any trees grown could be turned to ranged weaponry if you get that flax or bowstring as a monsterdrop.
Rargh always goes melee
You should do a 50th episode pvp challenge movie. Do like 6 hours of open world ironman or uim rules then fight. I want to see some sick boss drops on the ground at the end.

Make a new rule so that if someone uses mage or range, you can't farcast. You always need to be standing in melee range
Make a rule that if you have an advantage in any item slot you need to demote your items to the same tier as your opponent

You have x minutes (you decide the appropriate time) to make money from scratch. With that money you get all your gear from shops, you cant use anything from the moneymaking.
