If you see this as to go from one railway station to the other in Budapest, yes, there's no point. But this train connects all the important cities in the northeast. The train goes in the opposite direction, as well, so it enters the loop the other way. It helps Nyíregyháza (the furthest to the east in the loop) to have double as much trains to Budapest it usually has. Debrecen has plenty of ICs, Miskolc has, too, now Nyíregyháza as well. And if you have business in the region you are connected both ways.

Sehr schönes Video! Und vor allem sehr schöne Wagen. Ich muss wohl dieses Jahr mal wieder nach Budapest :-)
