At 50:05, there are loads of places in Malaysia & Singapore that do Earl Grey pie, and I can’t tell if it’s actually an unusual thing or just they don’t go to many cafés.
This has taught me that not a single person in the entirety of Los Angeles, including QT, knows how to make a fruit pie. If your normal pie crust is just butter and flour and tastes like nothing then you're fucking it up lol

I think one of the problems was getting pie from LA bakeries during the busiest month of the year for them. Consistency and quality will fall thru the cracks when you need to pump out thousands of pies for one day. Regardless, this was a fun stream!
