This guy and Hasan are all contradictions, they say "AI is just not there yet!, it's all marketing" And in the same sentence they point out how it is actually there yet for many jobs and how it actually is dangerous and not all marketing.
No the big talks done open AI people of how they would create a conscious (GOD)that is smarter than humans but like 2 years ago their company was making like AI that play DOTA 2 better than humans at low stakes where no one cared about them .
I’m an ML engineer. AI is in a weird space right now where there is actually a lot happening but there is also a shit ton of hype around it. While AGI is still nowhere near the horizon for the foreseeable future, there are a good chunk of jobs that can be replaced by some of these tools, especially in low level tech, copywriting, video and image editing etc. So I get why people are scared, but most of the hype is to get more capital into the field, cos that’s Silicon Valley 101.
Because ceo's are willing to use unfinished technology to replace workers. Chatgpt isn't there yet. It is not an intelligent system. That doesn't stop hyped up oldies from firing reporters with a model that cannot understand that 1 is not 2.
This was very interesting. Thank you for posting.
Thank you for posting this!!

Please think a little bit harder about what you said

It can do highly regimented jobs that rely on known patterns or simple tasks. Just fancy robots
