    This is how I make my whoopie pies. Can use marshmallow fluff and mix to taste in your buttercream it’s awesome.

    Thank you so much! I’ve been looking for this recipe forever, and this is definitely the right one. I made these for my daughter’s friends abut 8 years ago and then the website went defunct and I lost the recipe. They were so good that one of her friends asked if she could marry me. 😂 Not a quick recipe, but so worth the effort!

      I would do both. A couple of yrs ago for Thanksgivings I made pumpkin rolls. 2 had cream cheese filling, the other 2 had marshmallow filling (my husband doesn't like cream cheese. I know, gasp, lol). I learned something that yr. Even those who do like cream cheese went for the rolls with the marshmallow filling, lol...

    Interesting recipe. I've never seen marshmallow made this way. I kinda had a feeling you use gelatin to help set the filling before I watched the video because that filling didn't budge when you cut into the cake, lol. What's great about this filling is the different ways you can flavor it to pair with the chocolate. Cherry, pineapple, strawberry, Biscoff, toffee, caramel. You get the point, lol. If you have a Michael's nearby they sell a lot of different flavored extracts... 😋

      It's more common to see it with buttercream, but this way is very tasty, and you don't need to use as much butter in the recipe. 😊

      ​@@BakingCherryI followed the recipe in detail, but I do not have an ice cream spoon. I used a pastry funnel, and after the cake went into the oven, it melted a little. It was not like the cake in the video. It did not change in size except the height. What problem did I do?

      Hi! You can store these cakes in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the fridge for up to 4 days if the weather is too hot. Just remove them from the fridge about 10 minutes before serving.

      I've never tried to use whipped cream in this recipe. The chantilly isn't a firm filling, so I think it may melt when coating the cakes with the melted chocolate.

    Looks so great! Going to make this just fully plant-based as I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the estrogen and possible BLV in dairy and choline and lead in eggs and lead and pesticides in bone by-products like gelatin. Thanks for sharing

      You can't heat too much, or the gelatin won't set properly. Therefore, the gelatin should be warm but not too hot.

      Jako osoba, która nie je jajek , powinnaś sama się dokształcić w tym kierunku i już wiedzieć, jaki zamiennik będzie dobry, aby dał podobny efekt.
      To smutne, że każdy chce wszystko mieć podane na tacy w tych czasach, mając internet, w którym wystarczy poszukać i poczytać na dany temat, aby zdobyć wiedzę na dany temat.
