Dude! Indie game stores always sell before official release dates! I worked in one in the UK, release day was Friday, we'd be selling them the day we had them delivered which nine times out of ten would be on a Wednesday, we/they get away with it because our tills didn't send data back to the destribution centres!
Ive never met a single place in the states that didnt wait til street date. Hell Walmart is actually the best place to find a game early 😂 ppl who dont know or dont care will stock crap early 😂
I live in NYC and those stores usually break street dates for days or weeks even before release. They know! lol
