    What’s the point of centering averages anyways? It’s neither intuitive nor is it making sense.

    I’m probably wrong but if the data is within a year (that’s why there’s 4 quarters each year) and the trend is every Q3 isn’t the variation seasonal not cyclical?

      In the syllabus we study it's described as cyclical but you can call it seasonal yes (you can in the objectives it's described as cyclical/seasonal). Potato - Potahtoh

    Sir why doesnt this formula work for column 8 year 2012 quarter 3?

      It should be as (52.5+58.75)/2 but the mentioned ans is 51.67

      I know this is a late reply and you are in uni now but it is based on 5 time period because it goes from the start of 1 quarter to the the start of the next, so 2015 quarter 1 to 2016 quarter 1
