He hasn't gotten any worse. It's just in the studio he can go a lot higher because warm ups, practice, multiple takes, etc. You could assume the self-titled and Nightmare had less higher pitched stuff because they each had a different mood/style than City

Not many songs. He hits D5 in only a handful of songs and this is one of his strongest. The mix doesn’t show voice clearly at all but here you can here he has vibrato and it’s a slide up there. Man I’d kill to sing like this dude
@@ExternusArmya lot of it is mixed voice with some distortion over top. It's easy on paper, but to get it all there and be able to execute it is tough. It's totally possible though, he got this good in around 8-12 months because he worked with Ron Anderson. Anything's possible brother

Sweet! most singers sound slightly out of key when doing recording and the sound guy just alters the voice but M Shadows seems in tune all the time :D
