It’s amazing how Jordan keeps his full attention to learning from everyone he talks to. Even after all the experience and the knowledge and wisdom, he’s still getting in conversations with the intention of learning.

I'd like to hear what you have to say about his advice on adding sq footage. I know that's something you tend to shy away from. Although he is flipping and you are holding, so that may account for the difference in advice.

Josh Altman is a cocky real estate agent and thats why he is the best. He has lots of confidence and its a plus
True, but like any great salesperson, he's always honest. Rubs some people the wrong way, and probably loses a few clients who are looking for a friend, not an agent, but people like doing business with people who are transparent, and tells you what you need to hear, not necessarily what you need to.

I know this has nothing to do with your video but I just finished going through the Straight Line Course and want to thank you. This course has literally changed my life! The parts on tonality alone were worth the price of admission. I have made a conscious effort to apply your techniques, not only in selling but in every interaction I have and the results are nothing short of amazing. I could go on forever but I’ll keep it short and stop here.
I was wondering if you could do a video on inbound calls. Your course was very cold call focused, I understand that’s your expertise of course. Like many companies we do a lot of marketing and tend to get a lot of inbound calls. I think it would be super valuable to get the Wolf’s take on turning inbound calls into sales. If you’ve already done this and I missed it then a link to that video would be great.

So many gold nuggets! I started as a Realtor when I was 20. I’m 23 years old now and am approaching month 18 as a full time real estate investor. Grew up on WIC checks and started with $5,000 life savings also. You’re never too young. People can tell if you’re an expert or not, and if you are, age is totally irrelevant.

Eman Shirazi Yeah bro! Get a mentor ASAP(one with a biz model you want to emulate and understands investing), network like crazy, and never turn your business brain off, even when you’re out having drinks (actually I’ve made sooo many relationships that started from a good time where I’ve made large checks later on, but it started with that one night and you only have one chance). You’re now working 24/7, 365 so get used to it, and your girlfriend/spouse(if you have one) needs to understand. When Josh said “you’re a walking billboard” he is so right. Also, get with a brokerage that allows you to do your own marketing and investing. Investing is how you make real money in real estate, not being a broker. Learn investment strategies and be very creative. If you can solve problems you will get paid faster than anyone else! Hope this helps!

I remember watching Josh Altman on Millionaire Dollar Listing Show and hating him because I thought he was an asshole. I got older and realized that in reality he's just a stone cold killer in sales and doesn't let anyone step over him.
He has the realist insight about real estate he kept it super real

Nice interview with this guy who is enjoying hard work, and from a few Clips I learned and at the same time changed my perspective to see things, example it is good to know the emotions of others and use them to negotiate - Enjoyed my time listening it during my morning routine.
At about 44:25 Jordan absolutely beams in admiration for Josh's accomplishment in overcoming shyness and fighting for his skill in sales.
It's actually a really cool moment there.
If you could bottle that as a cologne for 12 yr old boys it would be called "Dad's Approval" or something.

As a real estate agent, I got kinda lost around 51:30 where Josh says “fake it till you make it” “I had this watch when I was younger. It was fake” but also the “not needing to have a nice car, watch, etc” what’s the balance?
once you make it, maybe you don't need that stuff anymore. In the beginning it is used to motivate you and give confidence? Thats my take on it.
