The Mayor should approach Samanea New York who own that eyesore of an abandoned Mall at the Source in Westbury NY Long Island .... That place is huge, warm and well lit😢 .... Retrofit that building and get people out of the cold for goodness sake. It's gonna be a long, cold Winter. When people are pushed to desperation they might start 'acting up' ..... Faster commute times for billionaires and business travelers means a more robust tax base for NYC. That tax revenue goes into funding every single public program available. On top of that with the bimodal operation of these piers/docks to also allow for fast freight and battery swapping it will create multiple industries that will create job opportunities.
