I don't know anything about Babbel, but I bought the full course of Fluenz Italian. I am on Level 4 and it has been a great success. I travel to Sicily yearly and my Sicilian friends are very impressed with my progress. I enjoy the classroom format; I don't want a game atmosphere. I want to learn the same way I learned Spanish in school. There are audio reviews I can listen in the car and virtual flashcards. Each class builds upon the last. I highly recommend Fluenz. You get what you pay for.
Hello everyone, with full respect to everything said in this video as it is a preference in the end, I have to disagree due to the following reasons: 1- Babbel provides a faster reward system when you make correct hits on questions and has some really cool features (I use it) 2- However I also use Fluenz and EVEN THOUGH it has a lengthy lesson and does not promote the same reward system trigger (in psychology) to get you hooked, it IS better. Simply because it is actually structured in a staircase GUIDED learning method. Learning italian on both apps, i must say Fluenz is better (if you really want to learn a language you have to make the effort even if it means sitting for an hour on a lesson and I know it may seem inconvenient)...It has helped me speak and understand the language much better than babbel or duelingo. I hope this helps and thanks to the author of this vid!
I am in love with my Girlfriend of almost 2 years. She is half Hispanic, and uses only Spanish when hanging out with her dad’s side of the family. We both graduated college only a year ago, so most of our time and money is spent working off our student loans. I would love to be able to communicate with her family without breaking the bank! I love the videos! And fingers crossed I get selected!
Thanks for the helpful video!! I was exposed to Spanish in school growing up a bit, but I’m hoping to learn the language over the next year so I can visit my grandparents who just moved back to Colombia this year!
As a soon to be senior in college, I have been studying the Spanish language since the eighth grade. This constant dedication has shown me just how difficult it can be to learn languages. If I were to choose another language to learn it would have to be German. My family ancestry is of German descent, my last name is even the city in Germany that we are from! I would love to connect to my family in this way. Who knows maybe one day I'd be able to speak German in Allendorf, Germany!
Thanks for the effort. I think between the two I'd go for Babble, I prefer and learn better from a gamified experience. Fluenz looks similar in structure to Pimsleur although a bit more conventional.
Being international I am already fluent in Spanish and English, I would love to learn Italian and french for the rich culture, traditions, literature and to be able to travel to Italy and France much more easily without language barriers
I want to learn Spanish because I am located in Arizona. I’m working in a research clinic right now and I’d say over 50% of participants/coworkers speak Spanish.
I am trying to learn Spanish to be able to better communicate with my clients…I am a veterinarian and we have an ever increasing population of Spanish speaking folks in our area
As a language enthusiast, I want to learn every language that both programs offer. My goal is to first master 2 languages for business purposes by spending more study time on them. For the rest of the languages, I'll learn basic phrases everyday, so that once I have mastered the 2 languages, it will be easier for me to master the rest of the languages. 😊

Thanks for the helpful video!! I was exposed to Spanish in school growing up a bit, but I’m hoping to learn the language over the next year so I can visit my grandparents who just moved back to Colombia this year!
Very cool!!
Another great review! I want to learn basic Italian for an upcoming trip! I’ve also been learning Spanish since I work with a lot of Spanish speakers.
Nice!! Thanks for watching Margarita :)
This detailed review is surely going to benefit people who are confused between the two. Again... Great job team. This channel will surely shoot up!!!
Thank you for the kind words!
Great comparison. I was curious about Fluenz. I’d probably go with Babbel though.
I want to learn italian because my family is italian and I want to be able to relate and communicate with them!
So cool. Thanks for sharing!

That's a good description of it
Thanks for the great review! Babbel seems like a better option to me!
I would like to learn French. I live and Canada and it'll be useful for me to learn it. I like Fluenz coz of how they designed the program.
Nice! Thanks for watching and sharing

For sure, that would be great

Spanish would def be useful then :)
Great comparison. I would probably try Babble simply because of how simple they make their lessons.
For sure!
I am trying to learn Spanish to be able to better communicate with my clients…I am a veterinarian and we have an ever increasing population of Spanish speaking folks in our area
Sounds very worthwhile to learn then. Good luck!
The moment you said longer more traditional classroom style approach...I realised Babbel would be my baby for the long haul
Yeah, I hear you. You really need to have some good chunks of time to dedicate to Fluenz
I want to learn Swedish or Icelandic because I am of Scandinavian ancestry
Very difficult languages, but that would be awesome
I want to learn German. TO be able to look for works there.
Nice!
It sounds like Babbel works best for people with less time to learn.

@@TestPrepInsight Thank you. More power
Fluenz always loses 🤣😂🤣
Hello, I want to learn a new language, but I don’t want to pay that much money. Is there a cheaper app ?
Duolingo, Babbel, Busuu and Memrise are your cheapest options. They range from free to $7/month - all very affordable
