Thank you Global News for bringing the REAL, not the network commercial, Macy's parade to us. It felt like we were right there on the street amongst the wind and people. In my 60 years of watching the parade on TV this was the first time I felt like I saw the Macy's Parade in all it's ups, downs, bumps, and people. We appreciate the time and effort it took to bring this wonderful event to us.
It felt like i was right there because I was I was Monroe high school band
I've also been watching the Macy's Day Parade for 60 years - and you're right, Global News, with it's eye-level camera was the greatest! The PARADE hasn't become over-commercialized - the broadcast presentations have. They've become an obnoxious assault of network hacks and endless commercial interuptions. Today, we saw small town-style entries that are never shown on TV - and hear the enthusiasm of the participants and the crowd. It was wonderful!

As a BTS Army, I'm and genuinely happy for the Nctzens who got to see NCT 127 perform. I was very much impressed seeing them perform.

Honestly this is the best! I LOVED it! We actually get to see all the floats and balloons as apposed to a few chosen dance/singing groups filled with ramblings from the hosts and lots of commercials. I'm telling everyone I can about this channel! Thank you!!

I tried watching the 2020 one, it was crap. The cameraman kept showing the same floats over and over, and couldn't even hear the music from the floats.
I'm a born & raised NYer and watched the parade from the sidewalk there every year among thousands of happy people. Brings back magical memories! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! ❤️🦃

Love this! It’s nice not just seeing floats and acts. Getting to see all of the bands and things I’ve never seen before in 20 years of watching the parade was so refreshing!

The only channel i have that shows the parade had a pre football show and basically focused on the anchors the whole time and their set up blocked the parade behind them
Yes, this is the way to go. Hate, hate, hate the stupid comments and mostly the dumb errors where they mislabel something or get names wrong. Waste most of the parade by showing the stupid booths or roof set ups where the oral diarrhea spews forth to contaminate an iconic event.
The talking is apart of the hoilday feel of Thanksgiving morning. Think of it as a cup of hot chocolate after coming in from the cold outside. 😊

I came from UK to watch this...it had been so mild right up to Thursday but that day it was freezing! Stood on the benches at w 72nd street and cheered every time a balloon made it past the West streets and wasn't blown away! I collected the confetti from central park afterwards, went ice skating then stuffed my face with Turkey and pumpkin pie at PJ Clarkes...I was thankful to have spent an amazing day in a wonderful city x

After watching 1.5 hrs of 2020s parade, I gave up. It is absolutely horrible. I’ve seen the same 3 floats almost the entire time watching, kept waiting for a parade to start, but nothing lol. . So I guess I’m watching 2019s now 🤣

The Macy's Parade clowns are Macy's employees. They are only clowns one day a year, plus practice time.

2019 really was a blast ThEY EVeN HaD ELvES ON THe SHLEFS HERE!!!! From THe COSTUMES TO THE BIG BALLOON!! And the spongebob balloon and everything else! It truly was a blast!
