This channel is fantastic - interesting, informative, straight to the point and no unnecessary fluff! I especially enjoyed this video as I'm looking to improve my editorial fashion photography - thanks for sharing this knowledge!
I'm glad I found this channel, I want to study more about photography and your videos are just amazing. You can easily explain even the more complex topics. You are a great teacher, thanks for sharing your knowdelege.
I doubt I will ever use these tips professionally(not a pro photographer)but they are still great for me to improve my photography, and who knows one day I mite take awesome photos like you.
You can always use these tips - even for simple titles, social media, a persons name, work, fun, invites. It's time you sent some pictures in for classroom Paulo. Thanks again for your support.
Great info as always. I have heard many times that eye contact is important on a front page of a magazine. What are your opinion on that? And also, I have the same camera as you have, the 5Ds. How much high ISO noise is acceptable for a fashion shoot as shown in this video? The reason I ask is that I feel that the limit of acceptable noise is below ISO 800 on this camera. And your photos have from ISO 1000-1600, and have too much noise seen on a 27" monitor. (my preferences) I know that in some cases ISO noise is acceptable, like old fashion B&W.
What I'm having trouble understanding in how you're shooting with such low shutter speed and getting crisp images.

Always great fun and lots of inspiration listening to you when you break down a shoot like this. How about making a part 2 (the lighting) and part 3 (post processing) from this same shoot? Keep up the great work! Cheers, Eivind Rohne / instagram.com/erohne
Hi Elvind, I was going to add lighting in but then I thought I would rather stick to the other aspects. Nothing too complicated with the lighting - one 4ft octabox fill flash. If I get a chance I'll put together a quick video. I'll be visiting your neighbours next month - two weeks in Stockholm.

When I think of it, the main reason I like your channel, is actually because you DON'T focus on lighting setups and tech stuff, but rather the creative side and thought-process behind the images. Stockholm? Cool! I've never actually had the chance to see and enjoy Stockholm myself, I've just just been there shooting for clients. But I'm hoping to visit it with a colleague this year. Everyone tells me "You HAVE to visit Fotografiska!". Cheers, Eivind
this channel is full of pearls!
You're such an awesome teacher!

I'm impressed with your editing style. Maybe you could do some kind of editing tutorial tips... Best regards
Hey Marjan, thanks I will pass that on. Film focus doesn't seem to be too popular for us but I would like to go there so keep watching!
I was referring to editing as post prospering.

Many top fashion photographers will actually ADD grain to images before they're sent out to the magazines. :)
Thank you!!!!
