My scariest seizure left me blind for almost a week. I was stuck alone in the hospital the whole time. it's nice to know that if it ever happens again I have something I can listen to.

I'm sorry you had to go throught that. That must've been terrorfying.
keepsmiling I didn’t know seizures could do that, I am so sorry.
Yes, it is really scary. My friend had a seizure in our classroom once, it had scared the hell out of everyone, me and the teacher were the only one who knew what to do! It can be pretty scary!
hey sweetie,
i hope you are okay now and you are doing better. i am so sorry that happened to you. despite all your seizures i think that you would be a wonderful person (i am aware i dont know you but heyo) xxx

My dad's sister suffers from seizures due to a number of masses in her brain which are inoperable. She found out about it two months after getting married and my uncle has stuck by her for fifteen years. I can imagine him talking to her like this after one of them, and it makes my heart happy. I love this video, thanks for posting. ❤
Awwwwwww
Not trying to be rude, what dose inoperable mean?

Really sorry about the background noise in this one... it's really becoming an issue! Argh! I've got to move. T_T
All the same, thanks to the amazing MorriganAudio for the script!
CardlinAudio My thanks to you!! ☺️☺️
Morrigan Audio yeah! thanks. there are people out there who get seizures every now and then (I'm one of 'em.) and they need something like this to keep them in the creases. thanks for making this script.
Cinder HOWL I am an epileptic, too...so this script is personal for me as well!! I'm blessed to know you enjoyed it!! ☺️☺️
CardlinAudio At my old job, two of my regulars are professional sound engineers. When I told them I was a freelance voice actor, they told me to get a storage cube big enough for my mic and surround it with soundproof foam on the inside. they kept saying that the pros do it too so I did that and it's been a really big help with background noise. Give it a try
The mad hatter this is such a good idea!
This actually made me cry because I do have seizures but not has bad as this, and now I know how my family feels when this happened to me as a 1-4 year old kid. God and now I'm 16 and I haven't had a seizure in three years!
Congrats! How have you been doing sense?

Awww thank you. I'm doing very well, I'm now 19 and still haven't had a seizure, I've graduated high school and now studying 2D animation. Though it seems my short term memory gets worse each year. I have absent seizures, so it's hard to notice. But thank you for caring^^

First of all, the new thumbnail design is so cute! Secondly, this audio is remarkable! The cuteness is real. You said that you must've been sick; I didn't hear it. You're a precious prince, buddy.
Oh I’m crying, having epilepsy sucks, and hearing this after a seizure when you’re alone is one of the best things ever. Thank you for this.

I had my first seizure a few nights ago. It lasted nearly half an hour, and I was conscious the whole time. I’m really glad Cardlin made this audio. I’ve been getting so many head problems lately, I almost started crying when he said “you’re not broken.” These comfort audios keep me going.
can you do one for disasociation/depersonalization? i know its something that people struggle with a loy and tend to just count as being depressed or as a bout of anxiety but some times people can have a hard time being able to connect to reality so i think somethinglike these could help a lot

I don't know what's cuter, the beautiful script? The adorable artwork? Or how much love and sincerity is in your voice?
as one who suffers from seizures, this is absolutely beautiful...you don't know how much this is appreciated 😭❤ you are amazing in your work!
Frances Your not alone. I have epilepsy and I remember having 2 seizures 2 years ago.
Thank you so much for making this Cardlin. I have epilepsy and the seizures can be little to really bad. They're hard to remember but no one knows what to do when it happens. It really touched my heart with this audio and your other comfort ones because I do have bad mental health issues but your audio makes me forget them for a bit.
Carly Ackerman thank you
Definitely know people will benefit from this. Having a seizure while alone is terrifying and this is such a brilliant form of comfort. Amazing work as always
"This won't define you"
Me: calls it "Emilepsy"
But seriously, as someone who has had epilepsy for like 18 years or so and has always thought "who would want to date/care for someone like me who has Epilepsy" (luckily I /have/ found someone who I haven't scared away)
But this is still so important to me. Seizures are hella scary for everyone involved and especially after you felt like you've been hit by a charter bus and I personally repeat myself....even being awear that Im repeating myself (i.e "uugh i really dont feel good.....I know i say that every minute but i really dont") but yeah this audio is very comforting for someone like me who goes through it all the time and is always afraid of being rejected on the grounds of "epilepsy is too difficult"
Now i know that i could comment something like "OMFG THIS WAS SO GOD DAMN CUTE" and stuff like that and i normally do...but tbh this Audio hit really close to home and brought back some memories, because about 1 year ago my brother had a massive seizure, he was just walking the dog with my dad, my dad said that my brother stopped walking, my dad didn't notice until a little later and tbh he thought that my brother was just messing with him, but then he fell to the ground and started smashing his head against the ground, my dad already knew what to do but my brother wouldn't stop and my dad was scared that he would bite his tounge, in the end my dad was able to call the ambulance and they took him to the hospital, my mom was in tears, my little brother didn't even belive us when we told him about it, and i was just in shock tbh...but yeah that's why this audio was a bit different this time for me than usual...you still did a great job Cardlin. ^ ^
Listening to this made me realize how bad seizures might be, and to whoever gets those, I know you'll get though each one of them ❤️❤️
Yknow what the world needs, a comfort after binging rolepley, cause guess who just did that 🙋
Binge eating, that is. For BED, bulimia or even just binging when your stressed. I think it would help to stop people like me from purging after too 😔
Princess Onania I hope everything works out for you
Madalyn Shiplett don't worry, I'm in the same binge boat haha, we'll be okay x
Thatrandogirl is awesome thank you so much :)
On the flip side, one for purging would be amazing. I have purging disorder so I (and people suffering from other eating disorders) would find it really helpful 💙
Seizures are terrifying. The coming round from it is the most frightening thing and I don't remember hearing anyone
Yea j agree seizures are very scary
I'm epileptic, it is hard and really scary. It breaks my heart to know that this will never end. After every seizure i really feel weak and wobbly and my mouth tastes like blood, sometimes I think of ending my own life because of how hard my situation is.Thank you Cardlin for making this💜it means a lot for a person with this kind of disability.
Ps: Im only 15 and starting to love myself more. Thank you so much Carldin!💖💜
I don't know if it's weird or not..... but may you do an audio for the blind/mute?
Kristina Y. That's a really cool idea!! There is a link in the description where you can submit script ideas. this way cardlin can see this! it's so good!
Kristina Y. -- Brilliant.
he should do an audio for the deaf
Nah, its not weird, it would be cool if he could do that.
@Smile Dog Same lol, I can still imagine it though because I used to hear.
God, this really meant a lot to me. I have seizures on a weekly basis and I have to deal with them myself, so stuff like this is an incredible coping mechanism. Thanks so much Cardlin for making me feel heard, loved, and accepted.
CardlinAudio if it's cars in the background, then I like the background noise. It actually makes me feel like I'm at home with you. Heh :) btw I'm writing an adorable AND different kind of script for ya! Hopefully you'll like it. ;)
My mother and one of my sisters have epilepsy. My mum jerks around uncontrollably and my sister collapses and her body just momentarily shuts down and let me tell you its crazy scary. But my mother always jokes about how shes never gonna drive again and its the stupidest thing ever haha. They love to joke about it and I think its amazing how they can be so positive about something like that.
So, to everyone out their with epilepsy or any other thing that causes seizures, you are so incredibly amazing and strong! Stay awesome peeps!
the fanart is amazing
Leah Walker Fanfic ... my dumbass literally thought u wrote fart lmao
I am so happy this exists. I actually have epilepsy, which if you didn't know basically just causes seizures, and I've never really had someone to comfort me after I'd had one. This means a lot that someone actually took the time to do something like this. I just wanted to say thank you and I love your videos
I have seizures and I lost months of memories but my boyfriend makes sure he knows exactly how to take care of me and this is just sooo cute.
HE GUESSED MY 2 FAVORITE MOVIES! *explodes* MY PRECIOS
this is absolutely amazing, I'm considering working on a script for someone with autism as it's a condition I have and something like this to get me through it would really help me and I'd love to hear your take on it. thanks for everything, cardlin 💚
Dude, I would love to help you with that. But what to focus on? Being unable to discern certain emotions and frustration over having it spelled it out? Being older and still having certain tendencies? Not being able to tell what you feel to begin with?
probably stuff like going out in public and how difficult it can be with all the noise and the lights and the people. just that overwhelming sense where you feel like you can't breathe and also like, you can't go to a restaurant or near a place cos it will make you sick because of the food and the smell. maybe just the sensory overload then maybe the process of calming down when you get home. but yeh, I'd love the help!
I also remember that Autism Speaks video that basically says being autistic is like having a disease and that it can suck up funds and ruin your parents' marriage. Maybe that could be used. I'm not lying when i say it struck a nerve with me.
Lauren Rothbauer Omg yeh it frustrates me too!!!
That might actually be a good one. I can see how it would be really frustrating to have to deal with that as an adult. I only have a mild case myself, but it can be humiliating when certain tendencies come back. I remember dealing with an angry customer and not even being able to tell she was angry until she explicitly said so. -_-;;
I have horrible, intense epileptic seizures..and this..this is actually comforting to me.. it makes me imagine what the perfect partner would be like in a situation like this... Thank you for making this this.. I'm actually crying just a little bit.. 💕
This is honestly so helpful, because I get seizures often and it's really painful I've suffered it almost my whole life and watching this makes me feel so much more normal and I feel like I do fit in. Thanks for making a video like this😊 this seriously made my day honestly I'm really grateful and happy thanks so much again.
Me: *rubs eye*
Cardlin: ''aww baby dont cry''
Me: oh err *fake crys*
C: What's your favorite movie?
Me: Back To the Future.
C: That's right, you can't decide between Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
Me:
Me: Yeah...! 😂
In all seriousness this is a sweet audio, and I hope it does help listeners who suffer from seizures feel safer and less alone.
I actually said lord of the rings before he said it then I was just sat there after like 😳😳😳
I said Harry Potter and then he said yes I know you can’t chose a between Harry Potter or lord of the rings I was like what how did you know
Literally thank you so much. This means so much to some one who suffers from this.
I still remember first hearing this during finals during a fight with my at the time boyfriend. It made me cry and realize that I needed to take care of myself better.
a girl from my school has had 2 seisures one day after another
at school and one of the days my bestie was there and it was the girls 10th one too and my bestie was stressing out and crying along with a few other of my friends I felt so bad, though I stayed strong and helped them though inside I wanted to cry
I have epilepsy (seizures) myself and no one has ever done anything like this for me. I’m so happy that you made this video. I actually just had one a few days ago...this makes me feel so much better. Thank you so much 😊
Ah jeez. I feel so awful whenever he sounds sad. I can't help it, it's like it physically pains me to hear him attempt to comfort me and I'm not even in pain.
I'm so happy you did this audio iv had epilepsy for years your so sweet :) always enjoy hearing your lovely voice
"And then we, y'know...sang Bohemian Rhapsody?"
Me: "nope, no clue"
"You dont remember?"
Me: "no but i know the lyrics - " *I SEE A LITTLE SILHOUETTO OF A MAN SCaRamOoSh* 😂😂😂
As someone who’s been epileptic for the majority of their life, I never knew how much I needed this until now.
Thank you Cardlin.
I recently started having regular seizures and we don’t know why so this very comforting❤️ “you are not defective” made me cry
Love the graphic design!! Looks great today!
This really hits home for me. I'm epileptic and my seizures used to be a problem. Hearing this really makes me smile
This made me cry.

Aw! I love that you used this picture. It's one of my favorite Cardlin pictures ^.^
The seizure talk actually made me get convulsions sooooo now I know another trigger. Thanks Cardlin!
I used to have bad epileptic seizures, to the point I was always in the hospital for weeks, but im glad they've stopped and have for a few years! Although my mums worried about tendencies which seem to be coming back so I hope they don't start again, they were scary! But these kinda audios bring me comfort about what used to happen!
Omg thank you my epilepsy is horrible and I have had constant seizures i've had to go to the hospital 3 times in the past month this made me feel so much better i'm so grateful for you and this audio I love you! I started crying listening to this and I still am.
Had a seizure a few days ago and this relates perfectly. Wonderful work.
Could a future audio be comfort for someone with BPD who's having a manic period? Or a depressive period? It would help a lot :)
omg this legit has me crying! I had a HORIBLE seizure episode yesterday. It lasted hours. bad episodes take me weeks to recover from and this just warmed my heart so much!
As a person who is epileptic, and gets frequent Grand Mal seizures, i really freaking appreciate this! I was watching a couple of your other videos, and I was thinking to myself "damn I really wish he had a comfort one for seizures." But then I though that epilepsy isn't something common, and that it wouldn't be the most popular video setting. But I was totally wrong! I'm so freaking happy I found this video and your channel. I've been alone for most of my seizures, and have rarely ever had anyone comfort me when I get them. Typically my seizures are a burden to others, so hearing someone tell me that everything is going to be okay, and that I'm not a burden was probably the best thing in my life. Thank you for being my pretend boyfriend for eight minutes, and for helping me cope. It is appreciated. :)
You are not a burden. Stand in front of a mirror and say that until you realize it, okay? Each day, maybe. You're perfectly flawed, like all of us, and it's going to be alright. ♥🤗
This is a combination that absolutely HAS to happen again! The only thing better would be to hear Morrigan's voice as well. But then, that combination of awesomeness might have been too much for my poor heart. Yes, better to ease into it this way......
Squealing like a fangirl!
As a person who is getting brain surgery cuz my epilepsy and seizures are to much this is very sweet to me thank u 😳
*Update* I'm officially 4 months seizure free!💗💗💗

This is really sweet. I just started experiencing aura, migraines, and seizures this week for the first time in my life and it is really bizarre and scary. This helped me feel calmer after one, thank you ❤️
I actually have epilepsy which is a form of seizures. This happened one time with and ex of mine while watching a movie at my house. Listening to this makes me go back in time and remember how much he loved me
man, this made me feel so comforted that I cried.
"babydoll" AHH WHY 😍😍
I died when he said that
i have been coping with epilepsy for the last 6 years and have never had this kind of comfort for it. this made me cry because it’s so so so sweet, and i hope to be able to find someone who can understand what i’m going through because this just squished my heart in every way possible
Firstly, just wanted to say thank you for offering support and comfort to people you haven't ever met, by taking the time to make these videos about some of the most harrowing and stigmatised subjects many face every day.
Secondly, I don't know if you take requests but had a couple of ideas ...if you don't, don't worry - just ignore me :)
Maybe a car accident where he is trying to keep her calm and awake.
Another seizure scene, when he notices the signs before it starts. with the different stages of the seizure, then something goes very wrong...

So glad to see a video like this. I'm epileptic and although I'm lucky enough that my seizures are few and far between and rarely really bad when I do have them, it's still really scary when they do happen, especially considering I live alone.
Thank you so much, as someone who has epilepsy, this actually means so much, no one actually knows what to say afterwards and it sucks, but honestly you are a god for making this thank you, I can’t tell you how emotional this made me, no one knows how to talk to someone after a seizure and this video just hit so hard because of how long I have dealt with seizures and how long I have been in the hospital, no one actually asks if you’re okay, or say don’t worry you’re gonna be okay. I cried throughout this whole video, I can’t even tell you how much it means that you made this video.
As someone who has epilepsy, I cannot say enough how much this audio means to me. Thank you so much
Thanks so much for this safe feeling Cardlin I can't thank you enough 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

Aah!! Yes! My second favorite asmr youtuber wrote a script for my favorite asmr youtuber!!! This was amazing!!

This helps me because when i was little i suffered from horrible seizures and i still have some but not as horrible as they were this helps me alot thank you cardlin
Less then a week ago I actually had a seizure and ended up in the hospital. I had never had one before then and it was super scary for me, waking up to my best friend crying, me tired from seizing and paramedics putting me on a stretcher. so listening to this for me had a much deeper meaning, thank you❤️❤️
When I first saw you upload this I thought that’s so thoughtful but I’m not gonna need it. Now here I am nearly 2 years later going through my first seizures and this is exactly the help I needed I have missed so much school because of these and I always feel responsible for forgetting things after I have them! I am also going through the problem of not being able to find the right medication! So thanks really thanks, this helped because I don’t like to worry my family about me so being able to cry and laugh taking with this was a great help thanks! Xx 💖💖
Omg! I get random Seizures like this almost everyday, i need someone like him to comfort me while it happens. What people would do, especially friends and family, they would scream, panic, and run around the room till I relieve myself. It's ridiculous
Watching somebody have a seizure was the hardest thing I've ever witnessed, it's an indescribable feeling. You want to help them, and there's nothing you can do but let it run its course, until it's over, and you just have to watch, as their body flails like a dying fish, it hurts to see, to all those with this horrible ailment, I wish that things get bettet
Not me just chilling in bed while listening to this 👁👄👁
Thank you so much Cardlin for making this, it's certainly going to help me out in the future when I have my seizures and heart attacks. It's really nice to find someone like you to great such a caring and loving channel
thank you, Cardlin, for making this. I actually know what it's like to have a seizure, and trust me, it's scary. Seizures are the worst, especially having them for four years. Thanks Cardlin.
it's crazy how accurate this is. This whole thing makes me so happy. Thank you to both you and Morriganaudio for all the time and effort you both put into this. This shows exactly what goes on in our minds when we wake up from seizures: "what no I didn't", "I did?", crying, bitten tongue/cheek/lip, lost short term, then even more crying when you really realize what happened. I want to try and type out a well thought comment but all I want to do is say thank you over and over again. It's so helpful to know that I am not alone in this journey (hello fellow epileptic friends) but also that it was a big enough deal for you to make an audio about it.
one last time, thank you Cardlin.
