This is not medical advice. And please let me know if I got something wrong! I was able to talk to a few people with friends who have epilepsy, but I have no first-hand experience. So if I missed anything, let me know 💕
I have epilepsy, but people don't really come to me for questions concerning grandmal seizures (shaking) as I have absence (spacing out) but if you have any questions on absence seizures, I could answer from my own person time from it! :)
I think you did very well! I have epilepsy so I have grand mal seizures, thankfully I’ve been seizure free for a good few years now but yeah! I think you checked the list on pretty much everything regarding those kinds of seizures (besides losing control of your bladder/ bowels but I very much understand why you wouldn’t really include that😂)
I've been biking for almost 6 years and let me tell you mountain bikers are always super aware of their surroundings and are almost always willing to stop their bike and help someone out if they need. whether its a biking buddy or a complete stranger, there's gonna be a good chance they'll choose to help you rather than let you find for yourself hell most of us have a light snack or a small first aid kit with us and will be willing to lend it
Not gonna lie this hits home for me coming from someone who used to have epileptic seizures and sometimes having them back to back the same day thank you SO MUCH!!!🙏🙏🙏
Jeez I haven't listened to much audios from you lately but it's nice to slow down a bit and listen to your voice again. I always appreciate your roleplays, they're great ^^
Another oddly specific audio from you that fits me like a glove, very well done. Even just getting the exhaustion shakes while biking is a problem for hard riders. Good thing is, when you go down on a mountain bike you'll usually get back up. Street bike, not so lucky sometimes. Ride dirt, save the hurt.
I love how you are always welcome to suggestions and how you make research for your videos. Going to other point, I remember from my first aid classes that when a person is having a seizure you can take your coat and put it as a pillow, that way the person don't hit their head when making head movements =D
Your audios are not only comforting, It also spread awareness and try to show what its like to people with those conditions i love it so much thank you
Just had a seizure this week so that’s well timed. Really good audio and saw you did some research. (Though I’m not gonna laugh at someone asking questions and helping me) For me, [once I gain consciousness (can talk) my memory is ok, I just don’t remember anything since I started] but that’s just me, everyone is different.
Thanks again Kat for another great audio. This made me look into Seziures and hopefully I will remember what to do if I ever come across someone with a seizure. Surprised I haven’t had a seizure since you can get them from not sleeping enough, tho I guess for me it is more just taking a ,long time to sleep, that being said there are days where I still am very tired and when college starts again… I’ll probably struggle to sleep. Kinda scary how hiking can be especially when stuff like this can happen.
Wasn't an easy listen, but somewhat theraputic since I was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2007. I'm medicated but I still do have siezures that are usually induced by stress. Still, I appreciate this type of ASMR scenario.
I used to get Petit Mal sezures, but I didn't know it was just me. So I ignored it. They were stress triggered so I assumed that just happens to everyone when they stress a lot. Then I got grand mal seizure. My parents booked an mri. Sure enough. Brain tumor. Few months later I surgery and I am seizure free for 5-6 years now.
The de je vu warning is real. I used to get those. But it doesn't give a lot of warning. Maybe 5 seconds. Sometimes I get the warning and no attack though.
Well well well cat you've really done it this time because I did have a period of seizures over a decade ago New Year's Day 2013 which went on for 2 hours
WOW, I'm a mountain biker with no riding buddies. I have epilepsy and often worry about this happening. You did this perfect, Did you read about how to react? Sitting here with a chewed up tongue and beat to hell. Thanks

Thanks for the audio, Kat!
That deja-vu feeling is so unexplainable, definitely the oddest thing you could feel.
