"Défaite de famille" is a play on words, it literally does mean "Family defeat" but it also sounds exactly like "Des fêtes de familles", which means family gatherings.
Here's a translation of the spoken/skit bits that weren't translated in the lyrics:

I recommend you to check out Saïan Supa crew, they were a one-of-a-kind late 90's/early 2K French rap band with skills and humor over 9000. Angela, Raz de marée, Y'a, X Raisons... they did a lot of bangers.
