How are Fate dice more busted than Miracle dice, precisely? Fate: 6 of them for the whole game, unless you take a few very lackluster units/enhancement. Eldrad is not that great, nor are Guardian Defenders, and the Wraithlord is just bad unless you mitigate his issues with a character attached that makes him worse in another way (Now anti-vehicle, -infantry AND -psyker wound him easier). The character can't even heal it while it is able to completely revive Wraithguard? Miracle: Assuming you run at least 1 regular sisters squad, by the time your turn 1 happens, you have 2-3. You'll get at least 13-15 throughout the game, or far, faaaar more if you just run some good small trading units. Add to that the fact that cherubs give you a couple miracle dice back when you use them, provided you use them on the units that have a cherub left. Loads of units have the banner that gives you a miracle dice if they kill an enemy unit as well. Fate: Can be used once per phase, and only ever once per phase. Miracle: Once per unit per phase, with a baller named character letting you use 2 per unit per phase. Fate: Can only use low rolls when you take a specific character, which either requires a big bodyguard unit, of which really only one combo (the windrider one) is any good, or a very expensive enhancement to keep him alive, which has a much better character to attach it to in the shape of the Autarch Wayleaper. Miracle: Can dump low rolls to bring back characters with a strat and to pump mortals with one of the best characters that you'll happily run more than 1 of in a list. Miracle dice are much more abundant, can be used more often, and have more uses when rolled poorly. The only upside to fate dice over miracle dice is that Eldar have a Lascannon equivalent...
I feel like they need to start designing these battleshock detachments to have the same strats and enhancement strength as other detachments but they just get a bigger bonus if a unit is battleshocked. not always but for the most part the units that effect battleshock are usually the B team. so much like tetras (RIP) and stealth suits for tau might not have a great impact on a board just on their stats their ability synergizing so well with the army rule MAKES them auto include buffing unit. Sorta like the sisters of silence detachment for the custards, on paper and thematically that idea is great. sisters probably just needed a little extra sumn sumn to be worth running and not just their rhinos.
The Rule would do a lot more of Joe actually bothered to build a decent list around it 😂 instead of just going "meh, BattleShock sucks. I'm just going to bring something that I guess could work" and call it a day
Retributors hit on 4s with their Multi-Meltas. They only hit on 3s if they stood still. So they likely would have dealt less damage to the Land Raider. The Nundams also hit on 3s not 2s.
Sisters are the nemesis of my Warsmith, Morvenn Vahl most of all. I'm hoping to get my revenge this summer. And I hope my paychopathic cousins here can give them a good thrashing tonight! Yeah, maybe a long shot, but I'm over here cheering "Ave Dominus Nox!" and a good few "Iron Within"s!
I'm a fan of the show, and I love Joe's enthusiasm every time I watch, but this was a strange choice to run an army/HQ to completely negate the detachment rule. This also comes on the back of already saying you believe it to be a lackluster detachment, so this just makes for poor content imo. Lastly, Joe seems to like to build his lists without any or very few "meta" CSM units which is fine he enjoys what he enjoys! Perhaps there can be more of a focus on list balancing between opponents before going live? Idk! Much love from across the pond tho

As for the 6's, just chuck a character with Saintly Example in the middle of the board and have her near the triumph. Revive her and let her die again for 2+2d3 auto 6's...
Liam insinuating Joe is tailoring bitching about Joes units etc. Meanwhile he is tailoring and playing a hard counter matchup etc. Like I feel bad for Joe he was getting bullied and gaslit the whole game lol.
Virtually every single warhammer channel that did a CSM prerelease game ended up with CSM losing. Are people deliberately powering down their lists for the sake of balance or is the CSM codex a wet fart and all the dooming about it being too powerful are unfounded?
i honestly felt sorry for Joe, our national treasure that we must protect at all costs 😂 last night playing the Night Lords space marines warband against the Battle Sisters, och 🤕 , because i look at G.W 4k had model figure wise for the Night Lords witch was very bad & there was only 3 article model figure section for them witch meant you had to kit bashes your own Night Lords from other Chaos space marine bits to make them look like Night Lords as a Army, Boo 🫤 , & also to found only 1 Noise space marine + again only parts for the Emperors Children witch is even worse as Gaming Company they should have fixed this problem before Releasing this New Chaos Data Codex's book recently , flaming G.W idiots 😤 😡 , & with my Death Guard Army i have solved some issues that G.W 4k bid not fix's, ie D.G sorcerer in terminator armour on card No model figure but kit bashed my own using D.G bits & last kit bashed my own Death Guard Chaplain from my own bits to use in narrative mission's or home brewed games with hobby gamer friends over beers/nicky nacks, wicked 😈
