    The Yarbo has improved since this video with version 3.5.6. it is not as noisy as the video shows. I live in a quiet neighborhood. It has 4 speeds and I mow on slow (2nd speed) and I can only hear it if I am standing still. If I am walking, my footsteps overshadow its sound. I just got my M1 in Jan

    Yarbo has been a great device for me but it is *SO* annoying at how bad this thing is at landing on it's charging dock quickly the first time. I've had indoor robo vac/mops for years and that's the docking speed and precision that I'm used to. The Eufy S1 Pro and 3i S10 Plus are the two that I currently have, both vacuums and mops, and they hit little bitty charge pegs (smaller than a dime) on the first try. My Yarbo misses the charge dock usually on try 1 and 2, then lands kind of in the middle on try 3-4. They need something to improve this.
    I've changed the charging location probably 7 times. Recalibrated it twice as much, with virtually no improvement. I see others online with similar docking quality. It's simply not good.
    20:50 - that's literally horrible.
    Props to you letting it ram your car. That was great. lol.

      Thanks for the message. So you have had yours doc automatically? (Mine has never docked, and is in the process of being replaced….although after waiting a long time there has been no progress on that so far).
      Have you contacted support?

      @RealLifeGadgetReviews on the first support message it was a canned "make sure your gps is good", and "make sure the RTK is set up correctly" - essentially reading the troubleshooting pages of the manual to me.
      I responded back and haven't heard anything.
      My house has absolutely no trees around it, and I live on 6 acres of grass. My phone has a 62 satellite lock everywhere I go on my property because nothing obstructs the sky. RTK has a great satellite lock, and the signal is strong. Yarbo never says "GPS lost" and never had any trouble moving around my property in its workplan.
      But by God when that thing goes back to the dock, it goes full retard and is all over the place. It'll miss it to the right, move a little more to the center, then miss it to the left, then a little more to the center, then it either gives up or gets it right on the 4th adjustment or so. Its so bad. I do not know what all criteria they use to dock- if it's GPS only, GPS + vision, ultrasonic + GPS, etc. But if it's solely GPS, I have literally the perfect property for it to dock, and it royally buggers it up.
      I'm not sure if its a widespread bad hardware or how they have docking programmed but I've watched dozens and dozens of Yarbo videos and none of them dock well. My robo mop/vacs are perfect every single time and cost 1/5 as much.

    That unit is so high-pitched and loud. The other videos that I have watch were not that loud. Is that typical?

    • @RealLifeGadgetReviews
      @RealLifeGadgetReviews  2 месяца назад +1

      Yeah louder than the 2023 due to increase in power apparently

      @andrewallen9918 2 месяца назад +2

      Yeah it’s obnoxiously loud, worsened by the high pitch. The leaf blowers that surround me every day of the week are bad enough; I’d need ear buds and defenders to mitigate the horrendous din this makes; shouldn’t be allowed on the market.

    OMG! That is loud. How can you mow at night with this? I have waited almost 6 months for this and if mine is that loud I will probable send it back.

    • @RealLifeGadgetReviews
      @RealLifeGadgetReviews  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes night time will definitely be to loud, certainly for a residential area, we are pretty rural and I would choose not to run this at night for fear if complaints from neighbours.

    Great fun - but if my neighbour had one of these I’d be banging on his door because of the noise 😂. Appreciate you’re probably far from people.

      If in the day it would be fine, not middle of night for sure (I mean its massively quieter than a petrol mower).

    • @DementedDog
      @DementedDog 14 дней назад

      @ yes, it is. I guess I’m comparing the noise to other battery models. But it’s also an entirely different creature, given all the attachments.

    I would check to see if the front camera is working properly. Mine stops if I step in front of Yarbo with the latest firmware.

    Are they all that noisy? I didn’t remember them being that noisy on the demos. I first seen.

      Yes really loud compared to other robot lawn mowers. But of course it’s no normal robot lawn mower. It will be capable of many different kinds of tasks

      It shouts out and asks a person to leave and stops in place until they do, repeating the message. I think in an update it will also auto notify you when you are away and let you see all the cameras

    I feel like there are other features they could work on that would be far more useful.

      I think the thing is, this one leads to others and is useful to develop because of that.

    stop wasting time, money, resouce ...

    • @RealLifeGadgetReviews
      @RealLifeGadgetReviews  Месяц назад +4

      Time is each our own for as long as we have it. So can choose how to spend it.
      Money we earn at expense of our time. So can choose how to spend it.
      ‘Resouce’ (resource I assume) - no comment aside we are all using it (for phones, tv’s, cars etc etc so depends where your personal line is drawn)
