Yessss, finally someone with good judgment and a sense of how the artistic side of photography actually works is making these very valid points that are rarely aired on RUclips. 👍🏻

I've been shooting for three years and it was a struggle until recently. I'm now in a growth period in my journey and this video has, again, changed the way I think before taking a photograph.
This is beautiful information to keep me moving forward.

I appreciate the work you are doing here. A breath of fresh air compared to the gear matters videos on RUclips. You focus on the core of photography

Great discussion on this topic and wonderful anecdote about HCB. It’s also a reminder to me to shoot more frames in a scene and work it because it’s better to have more material to look at later on.

Thank you Steve! Would you imagine meeting with the guy and get the feeling that does not like your work? ;) Talk soon!

Hi Jorge, some very thoughtful insights there, thank you. I do view my thumbnails on screen overall and after being drawn to the, perhaps obvious, most appealing shots I find it valuable to put the work away and come back later. This often gives me a more reasoned evaluation of what is in the photographs and I often widen my choice. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for sharing Trevor! Putting the work away for a wile it's also absolutely important so you can go back to it with fresh eyes and maybe new ideas.
