  • Spectacular views will surround you the length of this trail from Alpe Folpa to Monte Tamaro and on to Monte Lema in the italian speaking canton of Ticino, Switzerland. Monte Tamaro is the most prominent summit in Ticono with spectacular views of Lugano Lake and Lago Maggiore.
"This pre-alpine crossing is one of the most renowned and astounding excursions in the Swiss Pre-Alps and is located in an area overlooking both Switzerland and Italy.
Over the last few years, the Tamaro - Lema hike has earned a deserved reputation as one of the finest, most renowned in the Swiss pre-Alps. This hike is almost entirely along ridge-lines, and as you’ll be treading the border between Switzerland and Italy, it offers a spectacular aerial view embracing Lombardy, Piemonte, Ticino and Valais. The height difference is moderate except for the first part where you climb up to the summit of Monte Tamaro. Both Monte Tamaro, boasting many popular attractions, and Monte Lema can be reached by cable car from the end of March to the beginning of November." (from www.luganoregion.com/en/hike/...)

Hi Frank from Pennsylvania student Jeff. Im rewatching. The Switzerland 🇨🇭 scenery is bueatful. I had to pick of a John deere skid steer. Today. Driving by Raystown lake I saw a immature bald eagle to day. So the ones I've been seeing must have had success last year. I see alot of bald eagles. . I cleared fire line today.the game commission is planning on 200 acres of controlled burns on game lands 067. God bless 😊😊

Hi Frank. As always awsome teacher. You have the best channel.its good to know your heritage. My fathers family came from England in the 1739 . My mother's family is a lot of native American. Seneca from New York. Im all American. An army veteran and proud. I just got done reloading 32-40 rounds for my greatgrandpaps 1894 winchester. It was made in1898. And I have grandpaps 1894 30 wcf made in 1909. Both are 26" octagon barrels. And both shoot straight. I was told they are too valuable to hunt with. But I still use with very much respect. If it's raining they stay at home and my 94 3030 goes hunting. If you get to visit I'll let you shoot them. They are most prized possessions. God bless Frank. Your Pennsylvania buddy Jeff.

Hi Frank. As always. Your videos are awsome. They take me to places I've never been. Very beautiful country. I love the mountains. I'm texting from work. We got rained out. My crew started moving rock for more wood rat habitat . They are called Batchelor pads. . The work we have done so far is working. Last fall they fenced in areas to keep deer out. The acorns and berries are all for the wood rats. God bless Frank your Pennsylvania buddy Jeff. 😊

Frank your the teacher. I m just a worker. When you come to Pennsylvania we will go to the regional off I hope you get to meet the biologist who is in charge of this project. He's a very busy man and sometimes out of state. But he likes me. Im the fella that moves his rocks and operates heavy equipment. When I was a combat engineer in the army and my future was working for wildlife ide have laughed and not believed. God works in mysterious ways. My dad worked at the roaring spring mill running drott equipment and had his own logging equipment. I could run chainsaw and drive a logging truck around 12 years old. Only in the woods . I really miss my dad. I'm up for adoption. HA HA ..GOD BLESS. Frank.

Frank. Do you ever think about coming to northern Maine. Beth and I have a cabin in acoustic County near Sherman Maine. Exit 264 of route 95. Near Mt katadin. Its not fancy but your welcome.

The European lynx is very similar looking to the Canadian lynx. Beth and I saw a lynx at our cabin last August. Our border collie Bridger saw it first. It came out on our lane and we got to see it at least 20 seconds. Then it went towards the cedar swamp.. God bless Frank. 🙌
