- BBC One daytime TV quiz with Paul Ross, recorded around 2002.
I make a brief an unsuccessful appearance about 11m20s. The producers told me to expand on my reasons for my answers - hence my wittering on about Alton Towers!
Paul Ross only made £20,000 for this series (which means that only five games were completely lost).
I would really like to see those particular episodes, that Paul wins.
Except his 'contract' would be illegal under UK law and the whole idea of the show is just a gimmick.
Going to dinner with Jack must be a nightmare.
Most of the questions on this program are what 12 year olds would know. 'Which planet is closest to the sun?' Then once an episode they'll have a ridiculous question like this. That isn't even a nationally known Theme Park!
@@Face-Lice Thank you. That question has haunted me for 20 years 😉
@@lockdan Don't blame yourself! A question like this should have been answerable with an educated guess, such as Alton Towers. Jack gives me creepy vibes! Anything you could tell us about behind the scenes or any incidents on the show perhaps?
Jack is such a snivelling little Toad! Only had to choose two questions to be asked and didn't even answer one! Wasting the money on going to a bloody hotel. He's probably in jail now for scout master related crimes.
@@Face-Liceeveryone but me had been on a quiz show before. Jack worked in a newsagents. My friend said he looks like the kind of guy who have a suit in the basement made of women’s skin 😱
@@lockdan Haha yeah, wouldn't accept any drinks from him! So you really can't talk with each other before the show? It had a good concept but moved way too slowly. One episode has 10-12 minutes of material and the rest is repetition.
