That digital cockpit is such a nightmare!! I can feel the frustration just watching from the video.

Wow they really didn’t include all that on models out of europe? My Golf has full self driving capability with lane assist of course, collision warning, adaptive cruise control etc

You very wrong about the safety tech. There is a line assist as standard and you can even add lane keeping “semi autopilot”. There is assisted breaking in case of risk of collision, which you can turn off, also blind-spot warning as an option with auto-folding mirrors. There is probably even more safety stuff.
Also, there is wireless charging probably as an option in your region, but it’s as standard in central Europe.
Sorry to hear you don’t get 7 speed DSG, because again, that’s what we get here with every model.

Must be the Malaysia version of the car. The Australian version has wireless charging, lane keeping assist and several other features you mentioned as not available.

You're right. The Malaysian version lacked the active safety assists and other feature to keep the price of the Golf competitive but even that couldn't save the R-Line variant. It is no longer on sale in Malaysia since the beginning of 2023. Golf line-up in Malaysia now starts with the GTi.
