It is so awsome that you are able to have your 80 year old dad helping as much as he does. Cherish those moments you have him there with you. Bless him and all your family.
Somehow I don't think billy had a say in it, dad coming over would have said Don't worry I'll find something to do, even if it's The Lead Foreman's conscience and Brains Trust.
I can't wait til Simon's back he's such a lovely guy & I think he will be so impressed with Yanis's new skills, plus it's lovely seeing them both together.
I love that Yanis and Mick work so well together. The fact that they even take selfies proves it. the library gallery is looking amazing. Great job Billy, Yanis, Mick and the others.
Yanis, it's obvious that you take your safety as well as the safety of those around you very seriously. You lead by example by wearing ppe and safety gear. While I certainly respect your right to make your own decisions concerning how you chose to work, I offer this gentle suggestion to either tuck your chain in or take it off during your work day ESPECIALLY when working with the saw and other power tools. Dangling jewelry often gets caught in the tools leading to catastrophic injuries. And absolutely no one wants anything to happen to you❤ Also, your thoughtfulness knows no bounds. It warmed my heart when you paused for just a second to give the plants a little drink before mixing the concrete. Just priceless ❤❤
Totally agree with your comments. I also thought about the jewellery chain around Yanis' neck. It would be awful if it resulted in an accident, such an asset to Billy's team is Yanis., as with all of Billy's team.
The upper area would be a nice area for sitting and reading while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. Sofas and stuffed chairs to relax and chill. I agree with the suggestion of an area to exhibit art. Yannis is doing such a great job!
Wonderful to see how your work community help and learn from one another. Nick’s genius in placing the beams in Ryan’s home came in handy here as well!
I love all the different 'cams' we are getting. Can we have a 'Layla cam'? The joists are perfectly aligned, which shows the care that you all take to get this part of the project just right. Spot on. 😃
Billy you look so happy now that you can participate in the build instead of behind the camera, thanks Alex I love your filming, always excellent work. Can’t wait to see Simon again and hope to see the progress on his farm house. See you all tomorrow.
Wow, lots done. You are a great boss Billy. Many American bosses should get lessons because you are great with praising your people. I haven't heard praise like that in my jobs since 2018.
Alex what great camera skills! Love the angles you get . Billy your dad is super he has produced wonderful sons and of course Sadie whose love of horses is inspiring.
Billy might have to pay a pretty penny soon to keep Yanis. Yanis has so much knowledge & experience, along with notoriety, Yanis might go start his own business soon.
@@Amelia-ce3ge I don't doubt he does. He's a very caring and generous guy. The whole family is amazing. But there comes a time that people who think of realize they could get more, that they move on. I'm not saying I think this will happen, but Yanis does have a whole lot more confidence than he did early on. Hec, even just since Simon left Yanis had grown tremendously. He's earning his money that's for sure. Simon is not going to recognize Yanis now. It will be great to see Simon again.
Wow! Again another awesome day with Yanis et al! Love the way Yanis is picking up the English language and contributing even more to the dialogue of the channel! He is charming! Billy, you have blossomed now that you can concentrate on the real purpose of 'building' or 're'building the Convent. What a beautiful job you are.doing on this part of the. building as well. Thank you!
Yanis is a total work horse and learning more every day. Go Yanis, you are doing wonderful and the way that you help and support Mick is terrific. Billy I think you have a wonderful family and yes, that includes all the extended part as well. Great job on the corner as well. Have a wonderful day
Great job guys.. Alex, Yanis, Billy, Mick.. PRO WORK.. it really didn't take that long at all; from the demo, to the steel beams, the joists , and noggins.. SPOT ON.. LOOKING AMAZING..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I must say I really enjoy seeing Mick and even more so when he has something to say. He is the font of all knowledge for the entire team. Priceless memories being made every day!
Yeah! I had made a comment on wandering about Alex’s Subscriber’s and wanting an interview with Yanis! Only to hear Billy at the end saying Alex made it way over! 🙌🏽
Hello everyone! I was once told by an master carpenter; "Measure twice correctly and cut once !!" So, best to achieve the best results. Best wishes from Lincolnshire.
Billy we have a thing in the US called "Zip Tape" it's a black sticky tape used on the joints of plywood sheathing on new homes. It's very tough, rubbery & sticky. It's perfect for wrapping the end of a wood post/beam/joist that you want to protect from wicking up moisture.
Yannis is doing great, learning lots of new skills, what about teaching him how to drive? That way he can going forward go between Brico, Leroy, the convent, chateau and grandparents, this would be a great benefit to all.
Simon is going to be so amazed at how much you have completed since he left. The organ was big deal and financially draining with transport costs and repairs. I am so amazed at what you have accomplished and continue to be able to move forward on schedule. You have an amazing team of family and friends. Gwen must be a book keeping wizard.
Iv been watching you do the convent from the start I wake up get my coffee wtach you all work then I ready for my day can't belive how you are now such I big part of my day just love it😊😊.
Billy- guess what? Alex has close to 12,000 subs. That should mean we get Yannis video plus someone else, right? And we’re working on a third. I would love to hear from your father for one. Always great hearing stories from our elder generation
I second the notion of a Mick interview!! I just know that man would have some really great history to share. The things he must have seen and done in those 80 years of his, not to mention raising an amazing family, continuing to Crack on with so many different projects at the convent and chateau. Please convince he to share some of that with all of us!
Billy, you need to start watching Dan’s videos over on Escape to Rural France. I know you two know each other as well, but he’s been installing joists, noggins, I beams, RSJs, whatever you want to call them, for a year+. Learn from him, he’s got it down to a fine art, watch, learn, emulate, you’re making your life more difficult.

I was happy to hear you are going to do a piece on Janis. I am interested in his background and what he has done in the past. He has a great attitude and work ethic.

So much more detail being filmed by Alex. Can totally understand that Billy could not have filmed all this detail. He would never have got any work done!!🎉
I think Billy is single-handedly keeping this Brico afloat.
😂
:D Do you recon they are more exciting about him emptying the shelves or for them having to restock them once he leaves?
Yep! Bet you they had just restock those before Billy came. Lol
I was thinking the same thing haha
I was imagining all the other customers scrambling to get their purchases before The Pethericks Cleanout. 😂🤣😜
Books downstairs, pictures and history upstairs with some plants and a couple comfy club chairs.
With a cup of coffee from that copper beauty to read a book while sitting on a club chair.

Indeed! My own Mom, she lives next door, will be 88 in December this year and we stay busy but we are not this strong!
Somehow I don't think billy had a say in it, dad coming over would have said Don't worry I'll find something to do, even if it's The Lead Foreman's conscience and Brains Trust.
Billy, why not make the gallery, an art gallery, rather than an extension to the ground floor library, you could exhibit local artist's works?
What if there isn’t any local artist or if there is they might be horrible
I think once the convent is completed, local art could be displayed in ever room. It worked for Nicky Hilton.
I think this is a great idea. Make the Convent a destination for art exhibitions ❤
It’s so he has something to do with that massive Rothschild chateau library he bought a few years back.
Those empty rooms could also be installation venues, artist don't want pristine walls
Next, Owl Cam.
Yes! & Michael's adorable pig needs a porker cam!
@@pamabernathy8728 🙉 & the mouse in the organ too!
Was a name decided for the owl? I think it should be Lil Dwayne who lived in the drain.
Well now I'm going to hear "Little water for flower" in Yanis's voice in my head every time I water my garden. Not complaining
Bless Yanis thinking of the flowers.👍
Yanis melts my heart. 😊 He seems such a sweet soul.
And also Billy asking if he loves the convent and he says Very Lots :)
