- I Finally beat the worst DBZ Game Dragonball Sagas. With the cell saga finally here will sagas finally clutch up and give us a cool boss fight and cutscene? Will we get to see SSJ2 gohan defeat cell with a father son kamehameha!?

I 100% remember the totally canon episode where Vegeta and Trunks go looking for Cell and Vegeta remembers he accidentally planted some Saibamen on this island randomly as a joke a few years back and forgot to pluck them from the ground so now they’re just fully adult size.
Okay. But that doesn't explain why they had such a hard time killing them, though. What were the Saibamen training for the Androids too?

Once they revert to an egg they must bury themselves for 3 years. There their form matures

@@DotoDoya was my first db game on the gamecube and while it was complete ass, it still had the cool atmosphere of the db world which got me into the franchise
Yeah playing it co-op is really the only way to go about it. Playing it alone is such a slog. But with a friend, it's a slightly more tolerable slog. We used to make up our own neat little strats like punching the enemy into the air, and the second player teleporting over to kick them, or hit hit them with a ki blast when they were vulnerable. When played with two people, this game is accidentally legitimate fun.
They actually gave Goku a special icon for the Android Saga armor for one mission, but didn’t give one to Vegeta who wears it the entire arc 😂
You know what's funnier? They didn't even draw the armor for Goku correctly :) His leotard (or whatever the blue tight clothing is called) is supposed to be the same as Gohan where it doesn't go all the way up to the neck. But here, it looks like the one VEGETA'S SUPPOSED TO WEAR in the cell saga. Oh boy.

"Fun" fact about that last section of the final battle: It doesn't end when you hit him with an energy blast, you actually need to get into a beam struggle with him. He just happened to be doing a similar attack at the same time. Not only does it look incredibly unimpressive, but since you can't really react to him using a move, since it goes too quickly, you basically just need to hope to get lucky, and it can take forever.
That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard in a DB game, we were really stupid as kids to let this game slide lmao

the reason the bosses are so long is because for 2 charachters they literallty just double the health even tho its really hard for 2 charachters to combo simultaneously

And the awesome GBA card game one, supersonic warriors I think it was. Went all the way through to the buu saga and is infinitely better than this, which I also played, and also enjoyed as a kid. I beat the shit out of this game lol, but couldn't beat supersonic! It was genuinely hard and thrilling.

co-op'ed the game with Broly and SSJ2 Gohan and that was a complete cake walk as a kid

Seeing Cell just unceremoniously float to another location with no animation just about broke me. xD That, more than anything, sold me on the quality of this... product.
The fact that Super Saiyan works the same way it does in Sonic the Hedgehog is.... interesting.
That final boss is beyond stupid xD Thank God they didn't make you fight Buu as Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks or Kakarot, turning Super Saiyan 2 was ridiculous enough!

that time chamber level is actually pretty unique and interesting level design seemed fun for a brief minigame and ive never seen anything like it, was also a good way to represent the training.
To prevent running away stalling, making it last ~5 mins jic p2 is trolling feels necessary

I'm late and I'm sorry for that but...
You can make this game easier.
When beating a enemy, do a basic combo with triangle, but before the final hits, move ur joystick forward and start a triangle combo, near the end do the same and repeat.
this can Infinite combo all enemies and bosses in the game, and make it 100x easier. If the enemy starts blocking, just keep going it stops blocking on their own eventually.
At least the final boss didn’t glitch on you having the final boss constantly regen health while not being hit
Way back when I played that happened to me and thought that was how it was supposed to be, took forever to finally beat him like that

This was one of my block buster rentals and me and my brother had to beat the game in like a weekend. Back then I didn’t realize it was a bad game lol.

This game is a core memory for me dude. I remember playing it on the GameCube and unlocking Broly. I so happy beating him cuz he was a really hard fight for lil kid me, and I got to play as permanent Super Saiyan.

I really enjoyed playing this game all through with my cousin back in the day, at that time it didn't seemed bad at all, even used to play "versus" on the first map since theres a little hill like circle platform, whoever fell off the circle would be considered the loser haha

This was one of my favorite dbz games growing up the first playthrough was horrible then got older an played way better the second time around I would love to play this again
I was a little kid when this came out and i loved at the time
Oh yeah I remember this game I played it when I was a little kid and I enjoyed it. But now that I'm much older and seeing playthroughs of it especially for the multiplayer of it, yeah it pretty much sucked. I'm glad we got DBZ: Kakarot as a nice spiritual successor to this game and I will admit the commercial for this game was pretty cool especially the music that was playing for it.

Literally the only game I ever returned in my life. Glad I got my $6 back after it took 4 hours to 100%. It was a brief stain on my prided ps2 collection.

I remember owning an Xbox as a dragon ball z fan... Damn. I had my fun with it granted, but I remember just cheesing the bosses by never finishing a combo string, cause all the bosses ever did was spam the special attacks over and over again

With the recent announcement of dragon ball sagas I decided to revisit the game in preparation for the relase
I actually love this game. The explanation behind Saibamen bein all over the place is from when Nappa and Vegeta were both destroying cities, they were planting Saibamen along the way. They’re plant people and nothing to do with cell other than maybe some data on them (him being based on everything the Z fighters faced to that point and them)

I remember being so disappointed when I played this as a kid by finishing Cell off with an uncharged Kamehameha. I don’t remember anything else about the game other than that.

It was good for the memories, I always loved the slow charging beans because no game ever went “ kaaaaaaaaa meeeeeeeeee… haaaaaaaa - etc“ like the show. But yeah it sucked lol but it’s fun w friends

i remember doing that final boss as a kid and though i quite liked most of the game that shit is horrible but also they make it super hard on themselves by not using literally any of the tools the game gives them like instant transmission
Playing as Broly when you beat the game, is the only good memory that comes to mind with Sagas.
Gohan's SS1 draining during the fight with Cell is so wack lmfao the whole point of their training was that Super Saiyan uses zero stamina.
