YO! I'm the one who bought your OLD Black GD3 Fit you had installed turbo on long time ago. I've talked to you on FB Messenger before. Keep up the good work bro!
@unequal_fabrication Hahaha Yeah man I still have those Mazda seats in there. The headlights i redid them with some Morimoto Projectors. It's my daily!
@unequal_fabrication Bro! I finally had to change the clutch out this year cause the Exedy one you had in it eventually broke. I went ahead and replaced the friction plates on the flywheel while I was at it too. Soooo nice..
I'm thinking of buying your GD3 turbo kit in the future, do you recommend the T25 or TD04 for more peppy driving and better onramping/uphill for a daily driver? Also how much HP and MPG do you get around 4-7 psi?
@MelWithCrocs-hc5dl I like the td04 over the t25. The td04 is smaller and spools quicker. On 7 psi it's around 160/170hp. On 4 psi it'll be in the 130/140hp range. As for gas mileage that purely depends on how much time you spend in boost. If you can keep your foot out of it you'll get the same mpgs you get now.
@@unequal_fabrication Thanks for the info, that is amazing if I can get 170HP at 7psi. I'll be keeping everything else stock so just under 180HP is perfect for me.
It's tuned using k tuner. K tuner doesn't currently support any bigger map sensors for the GE so if you want to run more than 10psi youll need to go standalone. Anything less than that k tuner will work perfectly fine and be simpler.
@@unequal_fabrication Bless bro, thank you for responding. Also curious, the Forums seem to be dead. It seems info on the second gens is scant too, anywhere you recommend to get information on turbocharging? I have so many questions, but these cars seem to have outlived the classic write-ups and checklists of old.
@BlessedVeteranAdventures internally to the motor no. You can run it on a 100% stock motor. That's what mine is. You'll need the turbo kit and to put in bigger injectors and fuel pump. A larger exhaust down the road would net some extra power but you can run the turbo kit through the stock exhaust if you really want to.
@unequal_fabrication Do you have a video on the injectors and fuel pump? I just found your channel yesterday. I have a cut muffler, but I would like to get an exhaust. I have a lifted 99 crv that's an overlander currently putting a bigger lift. It has a custom exhaust. Thanks for your help.
@BlessedVeteranAdventures yeah I've actually got a whole video on the install process of the turbo kit on a 2nd gen fit. In that I go over swapping out the injectors and the fuel pump.
The td04 is journal bearing and the t25 is ball bearing. The td04 spools quicker due to the smaller A/R turbine housing at .41 vs the t25 that has a .57 The td04 makes boost at 2500 and by 3000 it's making the 7psi and the torque holds all the way to redline and doesnt fall off. The t25 is a gt2554r and it makes boost around 3500 and holds power to redline.
As long as the maintenance on the transmission has been kept up and the motor is healthy i wouldn't be worried about it. This one has 240k on it and has been running really well. I ran 8psi through my old GD for nearly 3 years without any reliability issues. I ended up parting out the turbo kit and selling the car and was out of the fit game for a little bit. But now I've got a GD and a GE haha
@@unequal_fabrication is it required? I have 0 knowledge of how to put in a kit but interested in the product. What’s the wait time for your ge8 turbo kit along with the accessories for it?
@chopstick4794 egr is an emissions thing. You can disable it in k tuner. I've got a video on how to install the kit too.wait time is currently around 6 months
@theoriginalbigboy252 100% stock motor and stock clutch. Motor has 240k on it and I assume the clutch was replaced semi recently. But car was stock when I bought it so no reason to think there's anything other than an oe spec replacement clutch in there.
Nope deleted that haha The last 2 pulls were on the same stretch of road that was recently redone and it's a lot more grippy now (I use to slide my e36 down that on ramp before they redid it but now it hooks a lot sooner) I'm surprised it was chirping second without shifting super hard/fast.
Legend. Bless you brother. Keep up the great work!
Appreciate it 🙏

well done brooooo !!!!
Thank you!! 🙏
Sickkkkkk
It's about as quick as I'd want a fit to be 👌 just need a little wider tires now.

@TPColgett right haha you should see the torque curve. It's pretty well flat from 3k to redline. So much usable power.

Do you know if I can turbo the 09 sport auto, with the paddle shifters?
Yeah, the auto trans can handle the extra power.
