My mom was a WAVE in 1943 and I feel sure I saw her at the 2:44 minute point. While doing exercises, "The Wave". She is the WAVE in the last shot just before going to the dining hall. I recognize her ! Thank you for sharing this clip. I wish momma was here to see it. I'm thrilled to see this.
I joined the US Navy in 1973. I never learned to fire any type of weapon! I would have enjoyed that! I was in the medical field. We saved lives instead of taking lives! 👩🏼⚕️⚓💉🩹💊🩺🇺🇸
hi I just really in joy watching this it's our way the American way when people had it right a strong sense of duty and right from wrong not like now thing's sure did start to go to hell starting in the late 60's but it's not all bad a least well thank you for a look back before my time :-)
