this song is bittersweet for me. It just reverberates so hard with me and perfectly transports me back to growing up in the 80s when everything was so optimistic and forward looking with discovery and hope for the future. That time is gone, and it makes me sad. Man I want to go back there again...
This made me happy from deep in some core memories! I love it :) I also downloaded this song while watching the video. I need some more of their songs to get.
I just can't get enough of them!!! Glad I'm not the only one who was struck by them. It was seriously like hearing a good memory if that make sense!? Do you have a favorite song by them?
@@meaningfullyvacant Hard to pick one favorite. Maybe Pink Mist from the first album, but I'm a big Stella Le Page fan, so those collaborations are great (Fly For Your Life, Art3mis & Parzival). Vale of Shadows might be the most fun piece. Have you seen the Rise of the Synths documentary?
Going down a rabbit hole of your gunship reaction today. I just love this band so much. Happy they have a wider fanbase then I was aware of.

I think that's a great way to describe the song, my experience is very similar. The album is kinda ridiculously good for a first release.
