Mad respect for Xolo to go from Cobra Kai to become the first latino to play a DC comics Superhero in a movie and its awesome that George Lopez plays the dad. Also excited for season 6 for Cobra Kai.

I really, really, really hope this movie is a success. For this to be the unofficial start of James Gunn's DCU, this NEEDS to deliver greatly, and people have to support this. By the way, the voice of the Scarab is played by singer Becky G (aka Trini from the 2017 Power Rangers movie).
James gunn recently announced 3 superheroes who will be appearing in Superman legacy. They are Hawkgirl, mr miracle and green lantern. Nathan fillion will be playing guy Gardner, one of the three green lanterns.
The bad guy looks like the robot in Disney's movie The Black Hole. I will be going to see this and why not as I went to the Flash with my son on opening night.
The trailer gives off a Shazam vibe with a very similar plot. But that plot works if you have heavy action and high stakes. I'm hoping they don't add as much cheese like they did in Shazam.
I feel like no one is going to see this. Barbie, Oppenheimer, MI: Dead Reckoning will still be showing in theater in August. I’d rather just see them again. The supply for superhero movies has exceeded the actual demand.

Yet another superhero movie where the hero and villain have the exact same powers and abillities.
I may be wrong but last i heard this movie doesn't connect to Snyder or Gunn's universe. Its pretty much a standalone like The Batman. Good luck to it
