your playing is just what the song needs to speak to the soul, I think the arrangment by Bergeron makes the essential melodie of this song really come out more than with all the other versions I've heard by now :-) thanks for sharing the tab
You are a beautiful player of the acoustic guitar mate , loved that!!! I normally watch you telling us all about those new wonderful electric guitars and building guitar kits . Thanks 👏👏👏👍🇬🇧
Beautiful Darrell. I've played Pat Kirtley's arrangement as I thought it was the best out there. I have to say that the voicings and structure of Guy's now makes it my favorite. You do a fine job of playing it as it should be played. I'm adding it to my play list as of today. Thanks again.
Beautiful execution of a beautiful arrangement. This is DADGAD version is less intricate that Pat Kirkin's one, my favourite by now, but is more "windy" ☺
Darrell- Take it from someone trying to learn Celtic style you're excellent video work helps immensely . The Celtic tunes requires"catching" those quick pull-offs that without them something is missing . Thanks again
Question here, how should one who wants to learn this style but is a new player begin? Every time I look up beginning celtic guitar I find stuff like this
very well played, but your thin E- string needs a setup, it buzzes all over the place. could be a bad fret or he string is too close to the fretboard to tune down to D.
It's really pleasant and a wonderful rendition . BTW DID YOU USE ONLY ONE RODE NT-3 MIC ? AND WHAT WAS THE AUDIO INTERFACE IT WENT THROUGH ? CHEERS.KEEP ROCKING.
in the tabs in the first bar after the slide thing it says you hammer onto fifth from fourth but you dont seem to be doing that. whatre you doing differently? it looks like you hit 2nd fret again and hammer onto fourth instead. why is this? are the tabs right or you? great playing btw
Finally! Something that I play better than you! Yippee! (John Renbourn's version, with variations. More sliding up the neck and stuff. DADGBD). Nice try though... Tee, hee...
@@richarddeerflame I refer you to the DVD, Celtic Melodies & Open Tunings by John Renbourn. A Stefan Grossman Guitar Workshop publication. GW 908. Loads of great stuff, well explained. Enjoy.

Finally! Something that I play better than you! Yippee! (John Renbourn's version, with variations. More sliding up the neck and stuff. DADGBD). Nice try though... Tee, hee...

the song in the game is based off this.
