There’s no way this was the first time you opened up the laptop. Opening it the first time is NOWHERE near that simple

For anyone confused Gen 3 SSD also works for this nvme slot, I installed mine and it worked fine. Also the middle screw is covered by a factory seal sticker, remove this BEFORE trying to take the cover off.
DO NOT attempt this with out a plastic tool, he made it look super easy but the first time it doesn't open that easy.

I have the new MSI CreatorPro AI Studio A1VKG (Intel Core Ultra 9 185H). I just finished updating to 96GB RAM and added an extra SSD. Here's my tips:
    - It's basically exactly the same as this model in terms of location of parts and how to open it.
    - Make sure you have good lighting, the screws are tricky to see. If you are short sighted and wear contacts take them out so you can see up closer better.
    - Before you start, inspect around the edge of the laptop and make a mental note of how tight everything is.
    - When removing the two outer screws on the bottom (underneath where your hands rest) realize that they're at an angle and not perpendicular to the body like the other screws. If you don't angle your screwdriver at roughly 45 degrees to start with then you'll strip them. Push fairly hard on the end of the screwdriver when you turn and VERY IMPORTANTLY TURN SLOWLY. These screws are shorter too when you're reassembling it. You don't want to strip these ones.
    - I found the guitar pick type tools the best. Go around in tiny increments. Just keep going around until you get clicks all the way around the perimeter.
    - I started prying it apart with the laptop open and got most of the keyboard separated before closing the lid, doing behind screen and then turning it over carefully to do some final manipulation.
    - You don't need to unscrew the battery, just disconnect it. It's quite a lot of tugging, using a tool to pull the edges may slightly help but wiggling is important and pulling pretty firmly. If you really have trouble then unscrewing the battery may help, but be careful not to drop it on the motherboard if you do that.
    - If you're updating RAM AND adding a drive: Do the RAM first, then you've got a little more room to open the RAM cover (since the new drive isn't in the way).
    - After closing up, put the screws in very loosely then squeeze around the perimeter to get all the edges to snap in. This is why I recommended visually inspecting it before you start - then you'll know you're done.
    - Before fully tightening the screws make sure all the ports are fully centered inside the holes in the case. If not you just need squeeze a little harder.
    - The laptop probably won't turn on with only the battery when you're done. You'll need to plug in the power adapter. Even though I was expecting this it's quite scary (I only do this sort of thing every few years).
    - It may take a REALLY (well it seems that way) long time to boot up the first time. It's probably got to run some checks or something like that. It felt like 30 seconds to me and the logo was slow to come up too.
    - You shouldn't need to go into the BIOS for anything.
    - You will need to open disk manager to format and assign a drive letter.
    - Yes this laptop supports 96GB. The 185H version does at least. I see it in my Task Manager now and it looks kind of crazy jumping from 32GB!

Thank you so much for this video. I used to have an MSI Stealth Skylake 6700 and the SSD and RAM were on the other side of the mobo. I had to take EVERYTHING apart just to change SSD and RAM. This is soo much better!!! Do you know if the base i7 version also has upgradeable RAM and 2 M.2 SSDs? On the older models, it depended on the configuration.

They skipped the most important part - where you actually need to put the plastic thing to separate the case and take it off ...
