This is so clearly explained. The intuition is really important to understand the real complicated mathematical models. Thank you for explaining the concept in a simple way.
When I was in my computer graphics class in Uni, I sent this video to my class because I found it interesting. Today I am looking back at it after two months of working in the building that the office camera is pointing at. Dreams really do come true!
The word actually comes from the arabic word "qamr" which means moon that reflects the light of the sun, or it comes from the arabic word "qamra" which means room. The 'pinhole' camera was actually discovered by a Muslim scientist by the name of Ibn al haytham. His work on optics was studied for centuries to come and his book on optics was what later Renaissance scientists relied on to build their work.
Yeah, it is on my history text book
@@fodee4313 Change your books buddy
Thank you so much to explain so clearly.
WOW! This is great, that was so simple and concise.
Thank you! Since months I was trying to understand How the eye chose all those ray of lights that goes everywhere or why a small hole in the ceiling project the clouds on the wall of a darker Room. ;-)
same as me
Love your explanation. Really love it.
I looked for this type of explaination everywhere, but here I found it.
I knew I wasn't crazy and knew saw this somewhere
Came here for help with my physics homework and it's ma boi Remy.
?????
LISTEN MAN LISTEN. My shitty middle school physics professor couldn't even teach us how to make a simple pinhole camera. We live in the middle of nowhere and back then we didn't have internet coverage. He overcomplicated the steps soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much and in the end, it didn't even work. Just now, I just made a crappy rough one from a brandy box in like 10 mins and it works so well. He is the reason we failed physics every freaking time.
This is simply amazing!
Amazing video!
Where is the simulator???
Ans is it's made on screen so it's inverted
such a cool vid!
thank you so much😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
I actually just made a simple one with aluminum and a toilet paper roll to look at the solar eclipse happening today!
Excellent
Made one of these today
Eyes my eyes are burning
What happens if the hole is not round, but a eg a saquare?
❤️🇧🇩
The guy looks like a weird mix of schrodinger and John lennon
so does each spot on the tree only reflect light in one direction?
No it will be upside down from two ways
Yo, you trying to share that .stl? :D
What is the f number so that the camera can be called a pinhole camera?
ringa ringa ringa ringa where my curry at
Camera, the word originates from arabic,, meaning dark room...yep, innovation by the arabs... dont know that the latins are claiming it as well... search al haitham the arab guy who ppl attributed this finding to.. funny the latin word for box is cubus or quatrus etc while arabic is qumrah.. so u figure which is closest
I just realised that camera is same as "कमरा"(kamra) in my native language (hindi), which means exactly the same a "room".
Mind blown.
