I know you're playing the game in HDR but I think is makes some ares a bit too bright I was playing the game with HDR then I turned it off and I liked it more, especially in that scene of Thor and Odin if you have HDR turned on it makes the environment feel like it's day time which is not accurate. So there are pros and cons of having HDR On.

He seems like the cunning type, not the imposing and commanding presence like in Marvel for example, which I actually prefer here. It makes more sense for him to be cunning! I often see people confused as to why Thor left after he got punched. The answer is very simple, he said he 'wouldn't leave until he saw the God of war' and when he did see him then he left just as he said.
I believe Odin was actually expecting Kratos to refuse his deal and voluntarily pushed Atreus into looking for Týr so he could play both sides. If he decided to attack Kratos here and now, he'd surely lose. Whereas if he infiltrated Kratos and his allies, he could manipulate Atreus into finding the mask for him and also gain knowledge about Ragnarok. He's brilliant
I love that you can see Kratos slowly revert into the God of War in his fight with Thor. He starts off reasoning and eventually gets to “You will join your sons!”
Happy late birthday! I just finished this game a few days ago. I loved every minute of it. Kratos was visceral and brutal like he was on the PS2. My wife got me an actual wooden and Metal Leviathan Axe for Christmas...she's amazing and gets me 100% haha. I can't wait to watch the rest of your play through!

wow you are really paying attention, because when Freya pushes kratos in the snow on the sled, the fur coat comes off but the developers tried to make that seamless and where you probably would miss it and forget all about the fur coat. Good eye!

But so far I'm still very excited to go back and playing it. They really set up things super good for a sequel. Leave many questions unanswered that the sequel can answer bit by bit. Like what the Dark Elf meant with that it was a great mistake killing him/helping the Light Elves. I don't know anything about that, by the way... but I'm they get to it at some point. I actually didn't like Faye's reveal. On the wall at the end of 18 she appeared to have dark hair and tanned skin. Here she looks like a TV or film actress (which, thanks to you, I now know is the actress who played Karen Page in the Daredevil Netflix series) and it kinda weirds me out. What really hurts with the bear cubs is, you see both sides of it: You have, what I guess is the older, being all fierce and adorable. But then, you have the younger, wanting Mommy to "wake up", and not leave them alone.

I use the parry a lot. I even use the parry shield later on. I just like to be careful and learn the move set of the enemies first, can't really parry something you don't know. You can't afford that many mistakes on Give Me No Mercy. Please continue watching and you'll see~

But so far I'm still very excited to go back and playing it. They really set up things super good for a sequel. Leave many questions unanswered that the sequel can answer bit by bit. Like what the Dark Elf meant with that it was a great mistake killing him/helping the Light Elves. I don't know anything about that, by the way... but I'm they get to it at some point. Things like that help the sequel to still be exiting and keep you going and make the player feel like it's even more of a continuation than "just" another game.

What's super cool about Atreus's voice is that it is Sunny Suljic again. He literally and figuratively grew up in this game.
I actually didn't like Faye's reveal. On the wall at the end of 18 she appeared to have dark hair and tanned skin. Here she looks like a TV or film actress (which, thanks to you, I now know is the actress who played Karen Page in the Daredevil Netflix series) and it kinda weirds me out. They did a nice job characterizing her, though.

Use your block to Perry the attack of enemy, don't just Dodge
I use the parry a lot. I even use the parry shield later on. I just like to be careful and learn the move set of the enemies first, can't really parry something you don't know. You can't afford that many mistakes on Give Me No Mercy.
