- What a delightful and lovely book I recently acquired - The Country Garden by Josephine Nuese. It is a true book about life with the garden, coming from the gardener with long gardening "career". I love it and here in this video I am introducing you to this lovely book. Enjoy!

Thank you for introducing this gardener and her garden to us. You read very well and it is relaxing to listen to you. I have two books to introduce to you if you don’t mind). A little more mordern than yours but interesting none the less. Elspeth Bradbury and Judy Maddocks are neighbours who live and garden in Newfoundland, Canada. Elspeth moves across Canada to British Columbia and their friendship and shared interest in gardening continues by correspondence. This book is their correspondence. Eventually Judy travels to British Columbia to join Elspeth in a road trip from B.C. back to Newfoundland in which they stop at any interesting garden they see or hear about and have conversations about their gardens. Their second book “The Real Garden Road Trip” is the record of this cross country garden tour. Both are great books to curl up with during the long winter months while we wait for the garden to awake. I enjoy your channel and thank you for sharing your garden and your knowledge with us. Oh my! I love this lady… I am more writer than I am speaker and I am trying to teach myself to write poetically. To write what I see in a way that makes other people see it too.
And now I must find this book. I wonder if it will be as beautiful, as soothing, and as relatable if I'm not hearing it in your voice. I would listen to you read the whole book!!
