I still want to buy an early 70's Cadillac Hearse (prefer '71-'73) and paint it white. Then put *DedEx* on the side in FedEx style lettering. And maybe add "Boxed up & ready to deliver" to the back door in a smaller more subtle size lettering.

Should tap the hole and plug instead of RTV, be terrible to blow the rtv out from crank case pressure and loose all yer oil, it'll be fine though probably.

Yep, lean on idle, that's why the flames but sounds nastier than most of the bikes I work on. Maybe a vacuum leak but no hesitation on WOT from idle... up the idle air mixture screw a bit and it'll be fine. Looking good guys.

that thing is gonna do some big wheelies man
Don't forget to port the intake to match new position of the heads! On top of that porting will help with air flow throughout the intake. And i do hope you guys filed the ring gaps. As i learned not long ago you have to do that for a boosted engine, or better yet run special gap-less rings.

I'm not sure it matters on such a small application but when using copper head gaskets with an oringed cylinder head you need to anneal the gasket before using so it accepts the oring properly. Modern times we don't use copper anymore but multi layer steel with stainless orings

Like people said it would look cool with duel carbs on it. Will also make more power with duel carbs on it. The stock intake is going to be restrictive even if it has been ported

i think you should try some nos, maibe not a 100 shot but a just little extra , allso think a duplex drive chain and a realy thick chainguard might be a good idea

Guys put your exhaust together at tips , make them equal lengths , just notch little at ends so they just fit together. I had a 20 v twin Briggs built !!! The exhaust from one side helps scavenge the exhaust from other other side. I put 3 inch exhaust tipon top of that. Helped me a lot. Local Briggs rep. Told me the trick you also can check on advanceing the timing with offset key way depends on cam. Likeing the build guys !! I used to pull qauter scale tractor pulls miss it. Lot of fun!!

Hmmm. Do you think when you plane the heads and have to drill out the holes for the intake that now the ports aren't in alignment now. You may have to get another intake and cut it and reweld the intake back together
