Just gonna mention, the regression events cannot be done by survivors, it's not a loophole but an purposeful mechanic so survivors can't just miss 8 skillchecks and then fix gen without any problems
Also killer can absolutely kick a gen more than 8 times as the rule states a generator must regress 5 percent and a survivor must stop the regression event for it to count as 1 regression event. Meaning if a killer kicks a gen with less than 5 percent on it or if the survivors never stop the regression event no regression events occur. Infact this new rule they added doesn't help vs 3 gens because of this. Which is funny cause it was designed to help.

Halfway towards the gen limit, the spikes already show up. But there is a gradual height difference between the first spike appearance and the max gen limit spikes.
I have a killer build idea you might be interested in checking out. It was originally "discovered" by Otz, but had become outdated after the RPD rework. The goal of this build is to physically block one of the exit gates that you open as soon as the endgame starts and with perks like Remember Me and No Way Out, the survivors will not be able to open the other exit gate in time unless they trigger no way out within the first 8~ seconds of the endgame collape starting. The only killer and map combination that I'm aware of this working on is The Twins on Hawkins, as one of the paths to the exit gate is narrow enough for charlotte and victor to bodyblock it. The only nessesary perks I've found are Remember Me and No Way Out, but deadlock and bitter murmur are great additions. Thanks for reading :)
It'll also be a really big knowledge check for them because charlotte loses collision after 30 seconds it would be a cool video to see which survivors actually knows this
Maybe add grim embrace to know obsession lacalisation after getting the 4 stacks of no way out to tunnel it ? I know this isn't nice but you need it otherwise it can just open the exit gâté normally... And maybe NOED as a second perk in case they succed to kick Victor ? Otherwise I would be really happy to see this video, cause I really like these non-meta build, my favourite one for now is perma-infection with Wesker !
Just to say about the gens being blocked to prevent you from kicking, you can kick up to 8 times, but the entity appears at the 4th time to tell you that after that 4th kick, you only have 4 left, when you can't kick the gen anymore, the entity will be around the gen for the rest of the game and won't diasppear

I was using huntress lullaby on wraith recently and I was getting a lot of value. It is very difficult to watch for silent skill checks and checking your surroundings for cloaked wraith at the same time.

You weren’t hitting all 8 regression events, only half of them. The entity gives you a warning starting at the 4th kick up until the last kick and then the gen gets blocked completely
This same build can be done on Skull Merchant. Though you lose 4-8% regression penalty from lacking the dresses, she makes up for it with her add-on that reduces skillcheck zones by an additional 20% while they have a trap. That's 80% smaller zones.
i love doing stealth freddy by using oppression + trail of torment, and instantly tp with class photo so they have to miss the skill check or stay and guarantee a hit. i use the pill bottle so that they cant see me until i get too close and it's so fun when it works lol
saw the title and just came to say that it seems like survivors hate everything about killer nowadays; cry about perks, cry about abilities, cry about tunneling, slugging, camping until Behavior caves and "fixes" it; I'm just about to the point of stopping this game because I'm tired of end game scenarios where they unhook a player close to the gate and there is LITERALLY nothing you can do to stop the escape. It should deactivate just like the anti-camping BS
Is brutal strength better than oppression because it will let you kick gens faster and also give some value against pallets buying you more time to chase.
Haven't watched the full video yet but when it does the spikes on the generator it's on its 5th regression event I think and it will show the spikes all the time once it hits the 8th
The gen gets spikes at 4 kicks and the spikes grow until 8 kicks are reached. I only figure that out recently. So it’s probably worth checking a gen with spikes if you forgot how many times you kicked it.
Most likely overcharge Reason for switching overcharge is cause youll get a burst of regression and forced regression (because its blocked) in comparison to overcharge
This on old skull meechant was so fun (in a non gen camping way) sad she had such a bad rep because this was actually a decent build with constant gen regression
Personally I run this build swapping Undying for Merciless Storm. Determined Survivors WILL find your totems fast, so trying to double down rarely works for me. I just pray for a good spot or leave a blood pool by the totem and take Merciless’s guaranteed value

I tried to make this build work some time ago, sadly, it only works with baby survivors, the moment you get half decent ones, they can hit skillchecks and you are stuck playing freddy lol
This build is obviously niche - even more so on freddy. But mother's dwelling seems like such a good map for this! Obviously very reliant on totem spawns though and if there's a gen nearby that you can gaurd/teleport to which could either screw or win the game for you
the gen block after kicking just tells you that your getting low on kicks i think it tells you twice on kick that your low on kicks on that gen so after kicking it 2 times and seeing the block after that you cannot kick it anymore

Hex perks always so risky they usually all get taken down in like 30 seconds into the game lol
You can defend hex pretty well with Freddy just place a trap and when someone screams go there you can even defend 3 gens close to it and doneb

Gen stuff like this seems good on stealth killers since it takes a lot of focus away from seeing through the stealth.

it's a visual effect that gets bigger and bigger from 3 kicks onwards. once it has 8 it'll have permanent spikes hen you approach it.
I feel like the perk oppression would make this a little more spicy
