Man whoever in cow chop used this song I love them. Those Pokemon go videos they made were some of their best videos. Hearing this song i heard from 5 years go was so unexpected and sad and happy and omg. Just such a good feeling of when I was younger 😊
I love this so much. Ecruteak is probably my favourite city. It’s been through so much over the years. Two giant fucking legendary birds were perched on their two towers. Then a fucking lightning, blaze, and rainfall happened all at once. Then 3 legendary dogs come around barging into the world. Life was beginning to divorce itself from Mother Nature. So, Ho-Oh had to intervene and purify the world again to remind them what it once was. Then, years later, a child from New Bark Town visits the city until suddenly the three beasts wake again and the legendary bird of rainbows just coincidentally re-emerges on the Burnt Tower. With all that’s happened to Ecruteak City in the past and present, it’s evident in the soundtrack that the city just wants to rest. Their theme boasts a somber melody but it also promises excitement and a rich history. Somewhat like a grandfather telling his grandchild about his experiences serving in war. You could tell in the music that the city has so much to tell its visitors and future residents. Ecruteak is the living embodiment of Japan. It still has its towers and temples but is surrounded by technological and social progress. The people may be evolving, but their core values and mindsets continue to stay intact. And as the old age of hardship and war rests, the new age is here to remember the past. This is why I love Ecruteak so much.
I remember being addicted to Pokemon back in 2017 and listening to a bunch of remixes and this being my favorite. I wish I can go back to that year and relive it. Definitely one of my favorite years ever.

As summer has been quickly approaching, i recently reinstalled pokemon go and started over. Now that the hype is over, i can enjoy it for the fun summer walking game it is. All the while, this song has been stuck in my head, and i could not ask for a better one to have on constant loop as i walk in the summer sun catching pokemon.
It's just a fun way to play the game in my opinion. My team Valor "pride" is nothing more than a satire; in reality, I couldn't care less what team someone is in. Regarding what you said about certain teams not allowing other teams to use pokespots, that's just ridiculous and they're really immature.
I could listen to this song on replay all day. Pokemon Crystal is still my favorite OST to this day! I remember booting up the game and sitting in Ecruteak just to listen to this song! Thank you for wonderful remix and thanks for bringing back some good memories!

Yes, cow chop brought me here, but this is a great remix and it brings back soooo much nostalgia of when I was ~9 and spent days trying to blindly find ho-oh and raiku around ecruteak city on crystal version. Back when I had no idea what i was doing except having fun. Back when all of my friends would rush to anothers house to grab their link cable to trade kadabra's and haunters for evolution.

Hello Cosmic, To answer your question simply, yes - it is music production. If you are planning on creating music digitally, you would obviously want to learn how to use the specific DAW of your choosing. Your DAW is a tool and the more knowledgeable you are behind using the specific DAW, better your creation will be. There are tons of youtube tutorials and online resources that you can look into that’ll help you learn the basics through advance techniques. In terms of instrumentations, I do recommend learning the basics of piano. Familiarizing yourself with basic music theory theory topics, such as: constructing your own chord progression, scales, writing melody, etc. will help your music making process more efficient and enjoyable.
