- The mighty tDub as the kids say. Such a cool motorcycle for a seasoned rider looking for a retro fun bike or a beginner looking to cut their teeth on a dual sport. Especially if you are short!

I ❤ my T-DUB! It's pure offroad fun on deer trails. On road it likes 48 mph with me on it at 270 lbs.
Im 6 foot and im loving my tdub...had lots of different bikes and this is an all around bike that im having a blast on...lots of back roads and main roads...ive had it 3 seasons now and wore the factory back tire off this past summer so cruising anywhere and everywhere and having alot of fun...even jumped in with a bunch of harleys for a day...God bless you too bud have fun
The TW 200 is one of the most fun offroad/trail bikes you can own. Perfect beginner bike, but even expert riders will find it fun to explore on. All sorts of aftermarket to make the bike your own. First year of this bike was 1987. One thing I would upgrade is to a larger fuel tank, range on stock tank is maybe 100 miles or less, but what a great bike!
We just did a 1000 mile adventure ride on the TW200 and the KLX300. Yes we stopped for gas SOOO much. lol. My wife really likes the looks of the stock bike so we will likely just carry some auxiliary fuel. It's an amazing bike and we'll probably keep it forever. Please consider subscribing.
Mine gets 87x1.8 gal is 156 miles per tank. I fill up around 130 to be safe.

The first bike I ever owned was a 1973 Hodaka Wombat 125, the last one I owned was a 1983 Suzuki RM 125. I saw this in my feed and I thought, cool, I might want to look into something like this, a nice little bike to plonk around the trails on as an old man. Then I heard the price... OMG🤣
Very very little has changed (removal of kickstarter and replacement of front drum with disc in 1991!) since 1987. The '87 even had electric start. Go find one if you like it, there's a good sized aftermarket!
My wife has one, she's short, so her bike choices are limited. It's such a simple, easy reliable thing. There's a lot of negative things to be said about it if compared to the rest of the bike market (slow, marginal brakes, underwhelming suspension) but it's great fun to bop around on, air the tires down and it will go absolutely anywhere without trouble, and it looks unique. Nor to mention there's a bazillion used ones out there, because for the most part all of them that were made are still working. My favorite description of the kawasaki klr applies to this bike as well, "it's as reliable as a hammer, because that's about how sophisticated it is"
@@Wilburnator you should def get one. We just rode it 600 miles on an adventure ride and it handled some extreme Enduro routes just fine.

Handlebar videos do nothing for the individuals interested in the motorcycle itself show the motorcycle if your thumbnail says you’re gonna talk about the motorcycle

I've been riding my whole life, I remember seeing the TW200 from time to time over the years, and never scoffed at its weird look or simplicity, I just had to get the KX500 /Honda Goldwing through and out of my system before I came to the realization that I'm almost 50, still want to ride, but don't want all the power or the complexity of cruise control, reverse etc, and 3rd gear wheelies.
I'm selling my 01 Honda Goldwing and taking the proceeds to purchase the TW200 for mountain roads and around town, can't wait.

I had a Honda 70 Trail while growing up in a rural area, but haven't really ridden since.
I'd like to start doing a bit of on and off-road riding now that I've got more time on my hands and I'm exploring different bike options.
The TW200 is a perfect bike to get back into riding. If it was the only bike we had I would be more than happy with it's capability with the exception of longer over the road trips. That being said we did a 1000 mile adventure ride and my son rode it without a hitch! Check out the vids.

This is just a backroad in Northwest Arkansas. It's on the northwest side of Bella Vista.
@@MidLifeCycles-ML I just bought a 2025 Tdub from Sunrise Motor Sports on Hiway 102 in Rogers, yesterday. I am still trying to get used to it. First ride on it today, was on a muddy dirt road, that I live on, rained last night. I will say that the Tdub with the factory tires is not worth a crap in the mud. I am more comfortable on my old 98 Harley Wide in the mud on my dirt road. But the Tdub is starting to feel better for me, in my fields, etc. I bought it for a woods bike, and I think it will do good there. I did test ride a used 230s before and if i was doing a lot of street riding, it would be my choice over the Tdub. I do like the slightly lower seat height of the Tdub over the 230s and the seat is better on the tdub. Once I aired the tires down to about 12 to 14lbs today, then I liked the ride and handling of my new Tdub a lot better.
I have a very good friend that has a TW200 and has done a number of mods over the years. It's a cool bike. Show the bike. Seriously. Talking about it while riding it for the whole video just isn't going to hook viewers. "Charmingly ugly"? But you never show the bike.

Omfg I would NEVER pay $6k for a TW. 😐 Things have gotten a lot more expensive because people like you will pay it.
I'm not sure that's what's driving prices up. But we wanted a new one and could afford it. You do you.
