Such a pleasure to watch it pull out of King's Cross today
Great to see it back where it was the king of the ECML.

Yeah, all that fizzy knitting does spoil things a tad
It's believed there was an exhaust fire from its rear engine somewhere between Newark northgate and Grantham due to a cooling issue leading to the 80mins delay at Newark and the shut down if the rear engine
Wow, thanks for the info. Tonyg1071 mentioned in his video that it didn't sound right when it went through Sandy... maybe this was the reason
@@MalcolmCrabbe I have already commented on his vidio it also struggled to get going at Peterborough after an unscheduled stop there before is failure
It’s the return of the Napier roar back on the old stomping ground which is the east coast mainline

What an absolute eyesore are all those electric power lines and gantries - didn't need all that ugly - prone to failure - stuff.....with Deltic power!
