Today I'm showing you how I gained 60k+ followers on Instagram in 6 months. I started social media last summer and since then my life has completely changed. I have been able to turn something I loved into a side hustle and I want to share how you can do that too :) This is how I grew on Instagram

5 .engagement - post good shit !!
- look out for good content creators on your niche
- post consistently !
- post reels !
- engage w followers
6. Spread across different platforms

The difference between you and other influencers is that you're actually funny and charismatic. A lot of these new influencers who are more popular are very boring and self absorbed. You teach us about fashion and you're way more funny than most of them. I can see you going far in the industry.

The truth is you got these followers because of your RUclips channel that is going well.
You do actually have a very nice ig profile and, even you, had to get attention on your channel to actually start growing on ig. I wonder how you don’t have 100k in there already.
It’s not easy and there’s no recipe that’s gonna get you followers.

The struggle of trying to figure out your niche and actually creating content that on par with others when you don't think you're good looking enough to do that :/

dont think you have to be good looking enough to do anything. there are plenty of content creators/influencers on insta that dont fit the conventionally attractive mold, and they still have their own niche and their own audiences.

I don’t think you have to look good, you just need to be different while also being the same as everyone else... it’s confusing on how ill explain it but it’s really simple. Your pictures have to be clear and good not to mention what you do has to be clear and good, not all over the place.

Also, I have a few questions, very much hoping you'll reply:
- I had a look at your IG account and noticed you didn't add your reels to your grid, why is that? I haven't done many yet but the ones I didn't share in the grid as well didn't do well at all.
- Then I also noticed, you barely use hashtags .. what! How do people discover you? "Everyone else" keeps going on about finding the right # .. and then you , nope, none. How on earth?
- Do you delete posts or reels that do not perform well / does this even matter?

I think I'll challenge myself to be really consistent for a month and see what happens, cause it has been a year and I have 400 not very engaged followers 😅 Btw the cake actually looks yummy

One random as question - does anyone know a good (ideally free) app that can trim Reels to go on Tik Tok? I use InShot for Reels because you can scale it when loading to Insta, but can't seem to do this on Tik Tok, and when you crop the video it seems to lose the colour? *insert perplexed face*

hey, i was wondering what if you have like a ‘fashion’ instagram but then on tiktok you have more ‘humor/jokes/fashion’ type of vibe, would u say yay or nay to that as being part of your growth? idk if that made sense but yeah lol
I think it is going to be harder to grow like that just because ppl from ur tiktok might not follow your instagram and vice versa because it is different content. But its totally valid to go into different niches in different platforms if thats what you want to do!! You just might not grow on both platforms at the same rate
