Happy New Year Mr Loo & family ! You look so excited like a kid & happy celebrating CNY in JB just like the old days. Cannot find this mood in Singapore already.....so quiet. Good that your daughter is learning baking from grandma. Please record the recipes.
Wow! Happy CNY. Green, green grass of home. Fireworks, firecrackers, satay, cakes, kueh lapis, kek suji, chaotic. Nostalgic longing of one’s childhood, a place of comfort, familiarity and love. A unique experience replicating kampung like atmosphere.
Mr Loo. Gong Xi Fa Cai! Celebrating in JB is really very different in Singapore. Everywhere in JB is so lively and the crackling of the fireworks feels so authentic and amazing prosperous.
With gated and guarded landed homes, may have Resident Association or management body to take care of safety and clealiness. Maintenance fee is affordable in JB.
To each their own. As long as you and your family are happy, that is all that matters. Satay looks dam good ! Fireworks is too noisy and irritating. Just make sure the sparks doesn't land on your hair. Lol !! . Life in Malaysia is different from SG . During this festive season, there are many who cannot afford to celebrate but they still make the best of things.
Firework contributes to air pollution. Can't imagine the whole JB shooting their fireworks into the sky. Hope the contaminated wind doesn't blow to SG, it's so near, they have fun while we suffer the brunt. Neighbour now enjoying good life thanks to defecting Singaporean after making tones of $$$, please remember not at your motherland's expense hor....
very convenience to do it on the road shared with neighbours but rather inconsiderate . please think of the neighbours with young babies and the air pollution.
fireworks are banned in singapore since 1972 and technically m’sia 1955. searching the web, currently 2 brands are allowed. mothership reported in 2023 that 120 people arrested and 3.3m fireworks confiscated. please be aware.
They should set up a firework’s deployment area in every district for the Safety of Health and Properties. Then again, if it was implemented, Chinese New Year would then be LIFELESS and BORING like those in Singapore… 😅
Wow, Mr. Loo! You bought so many fireworks-your life is truly blessed in Malaysia compared to Singapore. I hope more Singaporeans open their hearts to Malaysia and fully enjoy themselves, as we only have one life.
Did not see your neighbours doing the fire works. What will the local Malaysians think of Singaporeans splashing their money? Everything is luxurious. Even the trees in front and inside the house cost thousands of ringgit. Is this the image some Singaporeans are projecting to the Malaysians?
There are also lots of rich Malaysians. Plus when they buy fireworks, the budget could be a couple of thousand Ringgit to last throughout the CNY. Trees can cost thousands, just got back from the nursery and I saw a tree on sale for RM9,800. I can't afford that - but there are Malaysians who can.
Loo, Malaysia bumis have always been quick to blame SG and make us a punching bag. Why do you want to buy someone else's problems. Hard earned money from SG you give to overseas folks, who overcharge in Ringgit. Discriminatory pricing is practiced in JB, hor. Why don't you reward the singaporeans who are innovative and productive and make effort to improve? Plse try to spend your hard-earned money locally with singaporean businesses?

I think most Malaysians are far more tolerant of that - in fact, we already expect festive seasons to be noisy and accept that- while enjoying the free fireworks.
If you ask any affluent Malaysian from KL or JB, they will recommend only buying property in SG instead. And the smart wealthy singaporeans ignore JB too.
This is 1 very gd example whereby 1 country is so freedom while the other is so controlling & restrictive In Singapore before u do anyting u better tink thrice of the consequences bcos turn left illegal, turn right prohibited, u-turn unlicensed, reverse not permitted, move forward kana fine, stop kana charged. If a country is too controlling & restrictive, its peasants very hard to survive, to make a living. But of cos more law & order, secure & safe. Anyway 1.80 per satay stick is very expensive for Malaysian If compare apple with apple, leaving Xchange rate aside, Singapore per satay stick is about 1.50? Correct me if i wrong
The restrictions and laws in SG are there because singaporeans, especially the older ones, are nasty, greedy and inconsiderate. How well educated are you? How well educated are your parents?
People who will not appreciate the good of Singapore's system should migrate to the Malaysia they love so much for the complete freedom to play not just with fireworks but with FIRE!!! Mr Lo can be your CONSULTANT but strangely he and his family have yet to give up S'pore citizenship???
It's illegal in malaysia also right, why would someone upload such a video. And it's risky too and can cause serious injuries to anyone. Money can't buy yr cakes? I think money can't buy health....lol
@@KayDav-q3z It is true that older singaporeans have too much money and too little common sense. Having consideration for others is lost when certain communities grow too affluent and flaunt their ability to pay.

Is it legal to fire cracker? I doubt, noise and air pollution, the poor wild life is scare , I saw monkeys and white herons running and flying away .
After enjoying and having fun time, wonder who is cleaning up the mess on the road?

No worry The rain will do the works

Great celebration! I had that too in my JB landed house. Was very fun and too happy 🎉
You confirm the stereotype of older singaporeans having too much money and too little common sense.
Happy CNY Mr Loo & family! The festivities in Malaysia really cannot compare!

I can hear fireworks almost every night in north of sg. Wished we can play more than sparkles here.😂

Wah Mr loo speaks malay
sikit-sikit. Not good. Just a few words
Nice. But if it is Hari Raya, the situation will be different. Chinese is not the majority race, businesses are still open.

Firers watch your front 😂
In Singapore, you shoot fire at your neighbour's house. You go to jail for 3 to 5 years.. God bless the United States of Malaysia 😅
