T Rex sempre será uma grandiosa banda e possue músicas de alta qualidade e merece ter renome em todo mundo.
Marc's never looked better and sounds great. It breaks my heart that we lost such a talent so forever young. RIP dude and keep on boogieing.
Stahlhelm Sturm he does look great and full of energy and enjoying himself. I was one of those heartbroken teenagers when he cut his curls off, but looking now.......😎❤️❤️🎸
He looks good, but I confess that I miss the longer hair.
BOLAN, they don’t make em like him anymore!
Laser love is one of my favourite songs of his, it should've been a hit!
So talented and ahead of his time.
Good to see Marc with a great band and playing live(no tedious miming),i love the later T- rex,he never lost it,the teeny fans just drifted away.....Soul of my suit is a superb song and laser love a fine rocker.Always loved his guitar playing, relatively simple but highly effective,no bullshit(Jack White springs to mind). And what a performer, posing, posturing a real rock star.So sad he left us early. think he would have matured into a statesman of British music and played great gigs with brilliant musicians.
His music is absolutely alive to this day Futuristic Dragon is fantastic Laser Love a brilliant song one of his best but you are right the teenybopper element had long gone and it's the true fans who are still there to this day
Just wrap him up, I'll take him home, thank you!
Marc looked really great on this show, great sound, great guitars, brilliant backing by miller anderson, love this show, especially the fantastic version of soul of my suit !! KALMIYH❤❤❤
All I can say is fantastic, This why at 58 this still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up like it did back then, more than sadly missed
The wizard himself. The Master.
Well, this a real rock song with good rhythm, swinging! I like this ! And Marc is a great singer! - john coolman
Just 30 years when he died. And all the music he produced. Amazing. I love to watch t.rextasy. The best tribute band ever.
29 actually...
saw them when they supported Gary Glitter they were Amazing
Marc Bolan was be king of glam rock in my heart❤we miss you Marc baby keep little my heart❤
Two of my favourite T Rex songs, he was back at the dawn of punk looking great, I never missed his teatime show a few months later.
watching this reminded me of TRex single : Truck On Tyke. Loved that song., even though it never got much air play. Magic memories!
Loved lady and thunderwing with truck on tyke a close third
The frog is Eric Hall a great friend of Marc Bolan's. Eric is still a well known music/concert promoter in the UK. Eric has remained friends with Rolan Bolan and Gloria Jones.
Andy T.Rex that is so nice to hear. I love all these gems of information. Thank you so much for sharing
Good Lord - I knew that was Eric Hall's idea but was that actually him inside the, er, frog ???
What a genius 😊😊
FOR EVER FAN !
Wow! I love his looks and his music... All in one sweet package.. Mmm
Loving the frog's enthusiasm...only thing missing is air guitar
Makes me want to sand down my les Paul gold top, and paint it orange!
Mr Blue Sky assuming you're a musician. I love it when musicians say nice things about Marc. Rock on Mr Blue Sky 🎸🎶😀
The day before my 14th birthday. Seems like yesterday but again so long ago at the same time.
crazy to him with short hair
Oh I never get bored looking and listening to this precious one and only ❤️
Love
i love short hair marc bolan 🥺
The frog is indeed Eric Hall. When Marcs son was born he phoned Eric and told him. “What have you called him” “Rolan” “Rolan Bolan?” “Yeah, what do you think?” “ well it rhymes better than your bloody poetry.”
That sounds like Eric Hall, alright! :)
OMG, first time i hear Laser Love, and it's one of his best songs! Superb performance with a proper band!
I was at the recording of this, I was fifteen, we were given free tickets by Mike Mansfield in Wimbledon Broadway. AC/DC were on the bill too, it was their first European live broadcast. Great times!
60MinuteSteve wow you were so lucky
how fantastic steve i was the girl the lead singer of A/CDC sang can i sit next to you Girl there song i just went bright red shame cant find the whole show but great memories
How on earth can this talented musician be happy to play second fiddle to someone in a frog costume
Thank god there is other film footage out there to watch. I’d hate to remember Marc like this. He was so much better
A rare video of Marc Bolan with short hair. The time for new members other than Bolan and bass Steve Curly.
Mike Mansfield was a television producer/director and produced a few tv music shows and concerts and in particular he directed Marc when he appeared on a show in the Seventies called Supersonic and I used to work with Mike and the production company that produced Supersonic. That's why I was surprised to hear that Mike had passed away but fond memories and great fun to work on Supersonic among other shows to. Thanks for posting
stevenextdoor that is very sad to hear that the producer has passed away. You were very lucky to have been there though.
Mike Mansfield put on great shows when other formats were a little drab...
Awesome stuff. Marc at the height of his game. I have so many other things to say but I ran out of space.
I have never seen these clips before but they show Marc at a point where if he surrounded himself with Top Notch players then his was a true sign that he was on the verge of a great come back. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Peter
dancincrow I know, it's tragic. So very sad

Marc is still adorable here and plays great as always but I prefer his hair longer and he's beautiful enough without all that make-up on.
Марк, сколько ты мог бы нас порадовать но увы уходят в иной мир раньше времени лучшие. Очень сожалею.

graet song,eric passed last year
Einer der geilsten😮 Songs von Marc..
I love Marc almost as much as myself he will never be surpassed or even approached!Metal Guru is ot you!?
Mick Guite I love you for saying it 😆
Time of Metal Guru is the best Bolan period. The Slider Best album even Electric Warrior.
😎👍💯🇭🇷
and another guitarist has been missing from the beginning for live performances. Organ and not so much. But Steve was trying to patch holes in the sound on the bass. Extra bassist.
Marc is gorgeous in this video clip...just perfect!
Nancy E. Clauss I've rarely seen him look anything but amazing. Always gorgeous.
I prefer curly hair and after the first 4-5 albums Laser Love was the only one let's say a real Bolan song. Johns totally took him off course.
😎👍💯🇭🇷
Brilliant concert, amazing sound, cool camera work too!
Love you marc. R I P. Beautiful man. X
His music is very simple and easy to play just like rock and roll should be...
Brilliant to see, thanks for sharing, great performances in part 1 & 2, Eric Hall as the Frog 🐸.. Laser Love always a favourite, great track
❤️ MB 🎸🎤🎵
The frog onstage was a bad idea but Laseove should’ve been a hit. Great stuff
He is beautiful. He is the best for all time !!! Respect, Mark!😍👍💖👄
Love is quiet
Love does not require anything in return
Love has no purpose
This is my Love ...
Tatiana Kasieieva bless you Tatiana, you say it well
Good Lord!!! This is Good Stuff!!! Thanks for uploading it to all of us!!!
RIP Mark
See U in heaven
Well, well a decent rock'n roll with an edge ! Flesh and blood. Never saw it before, and must admit never expected to see Marc in such a good form , especially when you compare this performance to his unbearable fawning in Marc Show a year later.
thank you for uploading this i was there omg// i cant believe i found this Gem great memories marc was amazing live and ii was so happy to get to see him i met mike mansfield ;
B L O O D Y Fab🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧♥️🌟💙
Brilliant
Pal, thanx! It is so difficult to take some videos of the T-rex. I'm very grateful, but is a pity co's Marc's time life was close to end....
I'm french and naturally love frogs ;))
Johnny Depp is the man to play Bolan, well he was
I remember going to that show! With it being for a short TV set not many songs were required but I remember Marc "accidentally" fluffing a couple of endings to get more stage time. The addition of Miller Anderson on second guitar had forced Marc to tighten up his playing at live gigs and the band had never sounded better. Brilliant.
David Heywood you were so lucky to be there
He definitely enjoyed playing with Anderson, that's for sure...
HELLO
Yes the frog adds to the song
thanks for stopping by
love you to
marc
Never realised that 'NYC' is 'One inch rock' with different lyrics before today.
Love you mark. Maturing beautifully. U fortunately didn't get the chance to mature. RIP MY GORGEOUS MAN AND MICKY FINN SO HANSOM. LOVE YOU BOTH.X
Laser Love is a great song ! I really like it Md Marc is great on guitar and vocsls ! What else should we ask for? - jon coolman
for me new York city and calling all destroyers were the stand out tracks off futuristic dragon George underwoods artwork on it was great
Hi Peter
Thanks for stopping by
This whole look was him trying to go in a new direction. So were the simplified lyrics. I think he looks smashing, this could be on a runway today. (Like all of his fashions, really)
nkotb 82 he was always a cool dude
Have you ever heard Theme for a Dragon? I mean at maximum volume?
Hello

Hello

After all the years still brilliant he was on top form miss Marc so much
You can laugh, dear marc. I'm in love with this jumping frog and I laugh when Marc hits and kiss (him ? it ? ) lol I think I'm good friend but I've never disguize in frog, so sorry about that pfff:(
Marc looking like a Rocky Horror Picture Show's Billy Joe Armstrong (huge compliment for green day's leader of course!)
I like him with long hair
Debbie Macias yes, but the short hair grows 😆 and grows on you. It must be awful to 'have' to keep your hair in one style! Marc liked to change. But he just about grew it back. I love it long best too.
He can pull off any hair do
awesome,great,superb,thank u!
and to think he created the new wave look also
Carolyne Roy always creating and re- creating 😍🎶🎸❤️
Hello - Thank you
hi
it was a great sounding show
thanks for coming by
take care
He had such a cool voice and sounded like no one else.
I guess he’s with all the other great rockers up in Heaven now. One can only hope.
Along with Prince, Kurt Cobain, Chris Cornell, Michael Hutchence and many others.
There are actually more great dead Rockers than living ones at this point. Don’t think so?
Elvis, Lennon, Chuck Berry, little Richard, Buddy Holly, Jim Morrison, Keith Moon, Bonzo, Janis Joplin, Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen and many more would disagree with you.
RIP to them all!
Hi Andy
you are the BEST - thank you so much for all your answers
take care
I love it
Hello

TANX for stopping by
Wow I didn't realise that Mike Mansfield had passed away! Do you know how he died and where or when? I have a really nice email from Mike about Marc Bolan saying " Poor Marc never knew if I was going to blow him up or fly him from the gantry with Telegram Sam! " and so good was Mike at directing and producing. Ah happy days and memories
stevenextdoor wow, this is good to read about, thanks
He did a lot for Bolan, for sure - kept him on TV when times were lean...
who is the other guitarist he adds a harder edge to the sound and i didnt know he was in t rex til i saw this show and its fab by the way love bolan miss him tons
Miller Anderson...
Hi Maria
Nice to see ya
Have a great week
This must be off an album or rerecorded for the show. Silly how sponsors wouldn't want risky live performances.
Hi
Thank you for stopping by

Did that infamous yelp come from that frog ?.....some people shouldn't live in Monaco hotels for years on end......
hi steve

Who is the guitar player? Recognize the keyboard player, but don't know his name Don't really see the drummer (could look closer) wonder if it is Bill Legend, or someone else Does anyone know?
Lynne it was Davey Lutton on drums and guitar was Anderson keyboard was Dino Dines and the great man singing was Nalob Cram
Thank you so much, Michael @@michaelfoley4781
Drummer was old Irish showband head, Davy Lutton, and Miller Anderson from Keef Hartley's band on guitar, as was Dino Dines on keyboards...
