Very pretty! Thanks for showing. Can you explain why the metal shim is needed?

Hi Lisa. I am using the Glimmer System in place of a laminator and it needs a large flat surface to heat up to melt the embossing powder and adhere the foil. At the time, I did not have a solid hot plate that would do the same thing so I was using a metal shim. I've honestly never tried it without the shim but it might be possible to do it without. Just be sure to protect your Glimmer platform with a sheet of copy paper just incase foil or embossing powder or something happens. 😊
