Quick question, I have Vietnamese White and was hoping to feed that pollen onto my Asunta varieties. Will VW pollen work it being white flesh compared to Asunta varieties? I also have AB and Sugar Dragon.
Been a subscriber and always following your blogs and inspired to grow dragon fruit and had my second harvest but am not satisfied of its sweetness, their white, how could I obtain sweet varieties from you , thanks
Richard, I am preparing to order my first cuttings:: Physical Graffiti, but what should I select for a cross pollinator that is also good to eat? I am in 9b so heat and cold tolerant are important. I don't know how different the variety needs to be in order to be valid for cross pollination.
@@GraftingDragonFruit from comments in your prior videos I think you suggested that Crossing Sugar Dragon with other species could result in smaller fruit, instead of the intended larger fruit?
@@CA_Rock I focus on the taste so I usually cross pollinate with varieities that I think will produce good tasting fruits. Size isn't my main focus and your question was for something that is good to eat. I recommend getting 3-4 total so you have options.
Can we get this to 1000 likes?!?
Yes
Great video! Very informative and fun to see you and your friends enjoying their harvest tasting together. Thank you

And how do you keep your dragon fruit safe in the winter cause I got one and I don’t know what to do😅
Thanks for making the suggestions!
If I keep my plants in the garage for winter with a grow light does that mean I could get another fruit harvest during winter?
@@danielchilds1067they will not grow fruit under grow lights they will keep stretching however. For fruit it will need to be exposed to actual sun.
