    Hi there. A really great product! Can it be configured to transfer the correction via the LoRa radio to the rover? And if yes, please can you point to some instructions. Cheers!

    This is great! Great products! I'm just waiting for something that support the L5 gps bands.

      Thought the Zed-F9P supports L5?

      @@SkyHorseTech i believe there's one variation of the chip that does L5, but it's not one that would be usable for surveying type applications. There might be some workaround, but I haven't been able to find it.

      @@indystips2547 A few years ago when we built a F9P base and rover we used Rtklibexplorer's version of RTKLIB for L5 band and it worked great for PPK.

    How do you know you are 3mm off? What did you use as a reference for that?

    • @sparkfun
      @sparkfun  Год назад +2

      The CSRS report includes the uncertainties of the coordinates (in this case 2 and 3mm)

    Nathan, cannot find 240v to 48v ethernet adapters in Australia, with our plug configuration.

    If I heard correctly, you said that it was in NTP mode at the end. Does this mean it can be an RTK reference OR NTP server, or can it provide both services concurrently?

    • @sparkfun
      @sparkfun  Год назад +1

      The CSRS report includes the uncertainties of the coordinates (in this case 2 and 3mm).
      Currently the Reference Station supports only one mode (Base station or NTP server) but we welcome firmware requests on the github repo.

    How much is a gps antenna? So it can be used with tractor autosteer.

    The correction data can be received approximately up to 10 km, how about more than that? Does it needs another tools to get the correction data extended more than 10 km? Thank you

      actually after 10kkm you need another one base station, otherwise the error is getting up ! so RTK systems makes the correction based on the distance between Rover and Base,

    Could this be used to with John Deere Starfire equipped and other make's of agricultural machinery?

    • @sparkfun
      @sparkfun  Год назад +2

      What a fun question! It's hard to say from the John Deere website and specs but it does look like the device is using standard NTRIP protocols to gain the corrections for the RTK controllers. So yes, it could work. But John Deere is not known for their openness or compatibility so YMMV.

      Jd does not use rtcm. Trimple does.

      JD Starfire Receivers use standard RTCM3 when "MRTK" activated. Together with JD 4G Modem you can connect to any NTRIP Caster. @@proof6930
