Yes, all the Rostermundt girls are sisters. We had 9 girls in our family and 3 boys. Most all of us played BB , but the youngest 4 all played in state tournament games in the early 70’s. Fun to see the game again. I remember the excitement of being there. Connie Rostermundt Huffaker
Great action! It is easy to see why Iowans were so passionate about this 6 on 6 game. How many Rosterman girls played for Manilla in the 70's? I've counted 4 in these championship videos. Were they all sisters?
loves2dance4ever there were, Pattie, Joan ,Michelle, Diane and Jean. Rostermundt. I guarded Michelle and Jean every night in practice. Best time of my life!

This Manilla 1974 team ranks right up there with the very best of all time in 6-on-6.. There just is not a weak link in the entire starting lineup.
I know Bill Lombard of West Lyon, Their athletic teams have always been tough as hell.
Jean Rostermundt went on to play BB at the University go New Mexico and was inducted into their Hall of Fame.
